you; name; Nonye, Non-Non, Ventus, Venni, Ven-Ven, blahblahblah contact information; NonyeWest@yahoo.com, Skype @ Chicamanonye other characters; None as of now~ basics; name; Ventus, but he prefers others to call him "Ven" age; Appears 15-16 years old, but is really 25-26 years old occupation; To search for his lost friends race; Human in depth; appearance; Okay, so think of Roxas, but sexier. My work here is done. picture; Spoiler: click to toggle personality; Ventus is the living definition of "Curiosity killed the cat". He always wants to learn new things, whether it be a new move or a new world, but his curiosity does get him into trouble sometimes. He's very friendly as well, able to make friends with just a few words or even a small play fight. Because of his friendly attitude, Ven is extremely devoted to his friends and would sacrifice himself to save them, also showing his courage and bravery. He will do anything in his power to see them smile and will protect them with all his might. Ven loves to have a good time and strives to make others feel happy as well. With his friends, he'll crack jokes about them and even himself, all in the effort to make them smile. Though he embodies the concept of cheerfulness, Ven can also get very serious when the time calls for it and if someone bad mouths one of his friends, they better be prepared to feel Ven's Keyblade smacking them in the face. Though he can be sort of a party animal, Ven enjoys just laying outside at night and relaxing under the beautiful twinkles of the stars. history; Sweat trickled down the young Keyblade wielder's face as more and more Neoshadow Heartless circled around him. He couldn't do this! He couldn't, no, he refused to use the Darkness in his heart to defeat them. How could his Master possibly expect him to be up to par with the Heartless now? He wasn't ready. He'd probably never be ready. Gripping onto his Keyblade tightly, Ventus turned to his Master, standing on top of a ledge, and pleaded him not to let the young boy unleash the dark dwelling in his heart. His Master dismissed Ventus' unwillingness due to the boy simply trying to hold it in. His Master preached on, telling Ventus to embrace the Darkness and forge the X-Blade! The Heartless were honing in on Ventus one drawled out step at a time during his Master's speech and now were in striking range. Without a single warning, a Neoshadow lunged for Ventus and all was black. The next moment, a tugging feeling erupted from Ven's chest and the blonde's eyes popped up. All he could see was his Master's Keyblade above him and a white sphere of what seemed to be light rising up from his sternum. The ball of light travelled somewhere a few feet away from Ventus' laying body and, judging from the vacuum-like noise, transformed into something...or someone. Ven didn't know for he fell into a deep coma immediately after the extraction. The wind blew gently through the palm trees of Destiny Islands as a figure clad in a Black Coat appeared and carried what seemed to be a body wrapped in a white blanket in his arms. The man was Master Xehanort and the body he was carrying was his apprentice, Ventus. Master Xehanort arrived in the Islands to surprisingly allow his apprentice to live his last days peacefully. He placed the boy on a bent tree, not knowing that Ven's eyes had closed and his mind drifted into his..... Hey, where am I? An unknown voice echoed. "Who's there?" Suddenly, Ven's body was engulfed in a sea of black, plunging down to a fractured pillar of light. It was odd. He was underwater, yet he could breathe normally. That wasn't his main concern at the time when he landed gently onto the platform. Blank eyes scanning the area, Ven heard the voice speak again. I'm a brand new heart. The voice was small and soft, soothing to the ear. The lifeless face of Ven turned his head to the side, taking in what the voice had just said. "But this is--Why are you in my heart?" The light brought me. I saw it shining in the distance...and followed it here. "Yeah. That was my light." Ven's head lowered as the tip of his fingers touched his chest, feeling a delayed heart beat. He then faced the broken part of his heart. "But my heart is fractured. And now...the little I have left is slipping away." He could practically feel the hold that he has over his heart falling from his grasp. No matter how far he reached, he just couldn't grab ahold of it. Then you should join your heart with mine. "Huh?" White illuminated from the damaged heart as the missing piece started filling up with a new light. This new heart merging with his own didn't feel strange or wrong, it felt right. As if their hearts were meant to meet by destiny. Now our hearts have touched. Nothing else will slip away. And one day...you'll be strong enough to win back the part that already did. "Right. Thanks." It's time to wake up now. All we need to do is... "Open the door." They said in unison... The moment Master Xehanort started walking away, Ven's hand ascended slowly and a Keyblade appeared in its grasp. A beam of light shot out of from the Keyblade and pierced through the heavens to the delight of Master Xehanort. Maybe there was still some use for the boy....... An entity of emptiness. Ironically, that was what Ventus was when Master Xehanort presented the boy to the audience of Master Eraqus, Terra and Aqua. The two masters left to discuss the matter of the boy in further detail privately and left the two Keyblade apprentices to their new teammate. Terra ventured first to get to the know the young boy better, but the countless questions spewing from the older's mouth caused Ven to collapse in a scream of agony. Master Xehanort and Master Eraqus returned and the latter of the two explained that Ventus could not answer the questions, because he couldn't remember his past. Ven remained asleep for quite awhile, in the careful watch of Aqua, but when the boy awakened was when his heart started to heal and the formation of the strong bonds between the trio finally began. Years later, the Mark of Mastery exam for Terra and Aqua was underway. Ventus watched along the sidelines with a smile on his face. He knew they would both become Keyblade Masters. There was no doubt in his mind. But then something went wrong. The orbs of light started attacking his friends and then he himself. Though together they overcame the threat and the exam ensued. Unfortunately, Terra couldn't keep the darkness in his heart in check causing him to fail the exam and Aqua was the one that became a Keyblade Master. The bell chimed signaling that a new mission was afoot. Jumping out from his bed, Ven started to make his way out of his room until a figure appeared in his room totally uninvited. Oddly enough, Ven felt as though he knew the figure even though he had never seen him before in his life. Or has he...? The figure told Ven that Terra was leaving and by the time Ven caught up, Terra would become a different person. After getting his point across, the figure vanished in a cloud of darkness. Ven scoffed at the figure's attempts at getting him riled up about Terra at first, but the young Keyblade wielder couldn't help but think over the figure's words. Tightening his fists, Ventus ran out of his room to warn Terra. When Ven met up with his friend, the older man summoned his Keyblade Glider and zoomed off, leaving Ven behind. Determined, Ven followed right after him. Ven travelled to many worlds all in search of Terra. Each clue he learned about regarding his friend in each of the worlds ranged from good and bad. After leaving Enchanted Dominion, Ven encountered the figure from before in the Lanes Between and followed him to the Keyblade Graveyard. Ven confronted the figure and asked him what he meant by Terra becoming a different person. The figure repeated what he had said before and the two battled. Ven ended up getting his ass: something i happen to accidentally grab every time i walk by a hot girl.: something i happen to accidentally grab every time i walk by a hot girl. kicked and before the figure could land the final blow, a mouse popped up and saved Ven. Ven and the mouse teamed up and defeated the figure. After the fight, the two introduced themselves and Ven learned that Mickey, the mouse's name, had been training under Yen Sid, but left when he heard that the worlds were in trouble. Using the Star Shard the two traveled to Radiant Garden. Ven lost track of Mickey when they arrived on the world and searched for his newly found friend. Eventually during his search, Ven met up with his best friends Terra and Aqua. Before they could actually exchange words, besides their names, a giant Unversed appeared, but they defeated it together with ease. Everything went downhill from then on however. His two best friends started arguing with one another. Ven didn't believe what he was hearing. He had never seen them like this and...he didn't like it. He didn't like it at all. Friends shouldn't fight. They should never question each other! ....Right? Then again, would Ven be the one to actually know everything about friendship looking at his still fuzzy background? When Terra announced that he would be riding solo from now on, that nearly broke Ven's heart. They had always been together! And now Aqua was messing up their friendship! It really wasn't Aqua's fault, but at the moment that was how Ven viewed it. He told her that becoming a Keyblade Master had gone to her head and left to go find Terra. After a few encounters with some Unversed, Ven met up with Terra again and asked the older if he could go with him. Terra declined to the dismay of Ven. The younger asked why, but Terra just said that he knew Ven would be there when he really needed the blonde. Ven smiled at that. Of course he would be there. They were friends after all. Ven knew for sure that friends should always have their friends' backs. Watching Terra leave, Ven's smile faltered when Terra's words repeated themselves in his head. When he really needed Ven? What was he planning on doing?! In a dash, Ven ran back to Aqua. Aqua asked if he was able to find Terra and Ven confirmed, but that Terra was gone. Aqua understood and said she would follow him. When Ven asked if he could follow her, she firmly said no and told Ven to go home. Ven was taken back by her tone and noticing this, Aqua explained in a kinder tone that she just didn't want Ven to get hurt. With that said, the female member of the trio departed, leaving behind a saddened Ven. Ven strolled the streets of Radiant Garden while pondering the real meaning of friendship and a while later laid against one of the street's walls. Two teens, Lea and Isa, stumbled upon Ven who was still contemplating. After a few snarky comments here (all in good fun of course), a friendly fight there, and a make up scene after, Ven realized that it was at least nice to know who your friends were. Ven left Radiant Garden with the decision to make new friends and better understand the concept of friendship. During his travels, Ven arrived on a world named Neverland and found Mickey's lost Star Shard, but upon using it was transported to the Mysterious Tower. Ven groaned at his sort of "crash landing" on the world, but then noticed the two....animals? talking to him. The dog-like creature garsh'd and mentioned that Ven had the Star Shard "the King" borrowed. King? Guessing that he was talking about Mickey, Ven tried to explain where had last seen Mickey, but the duck and the dog grabbed a hold of him in excitement and led him into the tower. Saying Ven was confused, was a huge understatement. The two creatures led him into a room that looked like an office. A wizard clad in blue sat behind the desk and acknowledged them. Just looking at him, Ven could already tell that the wizard was Mickey's master. What his name? Sen Yid? Ven paid attention again when Yen Sid, thank you dog creature for clearing that up, said his name, even though he hadn't introduced himself yet. Yen Sid was apparently a friend of Master Eraqus. Hell, a good friend since Yen Sid knew Ven was ordered to return home. Ven figured right then and there that the wizard knew everything and to never question Yen Sid's authority. Who knows, the wizard had probably been alive since the beginning of time. It was possible! Ven explained that he had met Mickey earlier on, but had found the Star Shard with no Mickey. Yen Sid used his powers to locate where the lost king was and found Mickey battered and bruised in the Keyblade Graveyard. Ven offered to rescue Mickey, since he owed the mouse, and Yen Sid complied. Arriving on the Keyblade Graveyard, Ven ran up to the unconscious body of Mickey and checked his friend for any life threatening injuries until Master Xehanort made himself known. Ven faced his former Master, but a sharp pain racked the younger's mind and fell to the ground. Images....of his past flashed before his eyes. But why was he remembering them now? Why was Master Xehanort triggering these repressed memories?! Master Xehanort, now in preach mode, prattled about Ven reclaiming what he had once lost Once lost? What is he talking about?!, pure light against pure darkness to forge the ultimate key. The X-Blade! That name, Ven had heard that name from before, but from where?! The pain was too much now! Ven fell to the ground with a thud! Master Xehanort continued on with his grand speech and explained the power of the X-Blade. Ven had the power to make such a weapon. Did that mean, that was all Ven was? A weapon? Ven's questions were answered when Master Xehanort told Ven that the reason why Master Eraqus sheltered Ven so much was not because he cared for Ven, but to eliminate the chances of the X-Blade ever being formed. He kept Ven from growing stronger out of fear. He kept Ven from adventuring with Terra and Aqua out of fear. Fear of the X-Blade. Fear of....Ven. He never trusted Ven. It all made sense now. Master Xehanort smirked in triumph and sent out a strong gust of wind towards Ven and Mickey. He told Ven to go and ask Master Eraqus himself and realize his greater purpose. Ven's mind was clouded with thoughts as he was sucked up into the dark portal. Ven walked up to the steps of the castle of the Land of Departure, but halted. Should he really believe the words of Master Xehanort? Master Eraqus had always cared for Ven through thick and thin. Or...appeared to care. Ven shook his head. No. He had to know the truth. He deserved to know. The young blonde continued his march, but stopped again. Who was he to believe? I have to find out some way, he figured and was about to step forward, but Master Eraqus had already walked down the stairs. Master Eraqus was surprised to see Ven alone without Aqua, but dismissed it and said that the important thing was that Ven was here now. He didn't belong in the outside world yet, he said. No, he didn't belong anywhere except within the range of Master Eraqus' sight! Master Xehanort was right. Master Eraqus didn't want Ven to travel to different worlds. Master Eraqus didn't want Ven to leave the freakin' porch without permission! "In your prison?" That was what Ven's "home" was. A prison. A prison to lock up a weapon. "What?" "That's your excuse...for keeping me imprisoned here, isn't it?!" "What did you hear?" "That I'm supposed to be some weapon...some kind of 'X-Blade'!" Everything started to quicken in Ven's eyes. One moment Master Eraqus was in deep though, the next he had summoned his Keyblade to....to....kill him? What? Master Eraqus wouldn't kill Ven, would he? The scarred master now knew Master Xehanort's plans and would, by any means, thwart his plans. Even by.... "Forgive me...but you must exist no more." "Ven!" Terra appeared suddenly, in full armor, and protected Ven from Master Eraqus' attack. Terra! He came back and saved Ven, but...Master Eraqus was right. Ven had to die. Something like the X-Blade should never be created! Terra silenced Ven's pleas and fought Master Eraqus. Noticing that the battle was too dangerous for Ven to be around, Terra tossed the blonde into a portal leading to Destiny Islands. Arriving on the tropical world, Ven tried running back into the portal, but it closed before he could make it. Ven moved his hand to activate his Keyblade Armor, but the voice of Vanitas stopped him. "Going somewhere?" "I'm through with you!" "Well I'm just getting started with you." Vanitas taunted Ven to join with him and become the X-Blade, but Ven refused. Ven knew the only way for the X-Blade to be formed was if he and Vanitas fought and Ven had no intention of doing so. Vanitas shrugged "his other's" comment aside and told Ven to come and find him at the Keyblade Graveyard, the only place where the X-Blade could be formed, and where he would be choking the life out of Terra and Aqua. Disappearing within a Corridor of Darkness, Vanitas left the conflicted Ven. Ven pulled out his Wayfinder and swore to his friends that he would put an end to this. He would put an end to himself. The barren wasteland of the Keyblade Graveyard, the wind blowing with an eerie gloom, still looked desolate and ominous to Ven, but that was not on the mind of Ven. The X-Blade. Vanitas. Ven didn't want to fight him. He didn't want the X-Blade to be formed. The thought of Ven becoming the cause of destruction for all the worlds, terrified him greatly. Ven walked up to his friends in the center of the Keyblade crossroads and explained to them about everything. The plan of Master Xehanort's, what Ven really was, why Master Eraqus tried to kill Ven and....asked... "I'm asking you as friend, just...put an end to me." The two shocked friends didn't have a chance to reply when Master Xehanort and Vanitas strode closer to them and stopped just a few feet from the trio. The smirk on Master Xehanort's face didn't falter as he told the story of the Keyblade War. Ven didn't pay much attention. This was it. This was where the final battle would take place... "X-Blade!" Master Xehanort pointed straight at Ven. The trio glared at the powerful Keyblade wielder and all activated their Keyblade Armor. Before Ven could even step forward, Terra pushed him back and the older of the two went to attack Master Xehanort. No Terra! Couldn't he see that this was Ven's destiny? While Terra fought Master Xehanort, Ven and Aqua dodged the gust of flying Keyblades from Vanitas. Ven wasn't quick enough and got pummeled by the flurry of Keyblades, but regained his balance and ran over to Aqua, who was attacked by the rush. Her helmet had been destroyed, but for the most part she was okay. Ven then sprinted over to the giant pillar of rock Terra and Master Xehanort were fighting on. Ven tried landing a surprise attack on Master Xehanort's open back, but the latter being a far more skilled fighter, dodged his attack and grabbed ahold of Ven's head. Using his dark powers, he froze Ven and dropped the boy to plummet towards the ground, however Aqua caught him in time. Though frozen, Ven could still see the massive heart-shaped moon summoned up by Master Xehanort. What was it?! Ven couldn't further dwell on the thought when a man wearing an eye-patch showed up. "How 'bout you leave the popsicle with me, so you can have your little fight with Terra." Who was this guy?! Blabbing on about Terra killing Master Eraqus and that he would kill Ven and Aqua to make Terra fully succumb to darkness. He didn't know a thing about Terra! Terra would never fall into darkness! Not when he had friends to care for him! Aqua heard enough from the man and fought him until the man retreated, saying he "bought time". What did he mean by that? Bought time for what? Ven was broken from his thoughts when Vanitas struck Aqua down from above. "NO!!" Ven's rage thawed out the ice and faced his opponent, his "other". This was the battle Ven feared the most, but the urge to protect his friends trampled over his fear. The two fought, Keyblades clashing violently with each other until a dark aura flowed from Vanitas' body. Vanitas revealed not only his face, but that the Unversed came from him when he and Ven were separated and that he unleashed the Unversed in different worlds to try and draw Ven out. Vanitas walked closer to Ven and soon the two were surrounded by a fierce sphere of light. The light then erupted up towards the sky for all to see..... This feeling of plunging into an ocean was familiar to Ven. Landing on a pillar of both himself and Vanitas, Ven glanced around in confusion just before Vanitas floated down onto the pillar. "Our union was not finished. The X-Blade shouldn't stay broken like this." Vanitas raised the X-Blade and pointed at Ven. "Join me now, and we can complete the X-Blade!" Ven looked at him and shook his head. No, something like the X-Blade had to be destroyed anyway possible. "I've got a better idea." Ven summoned his Keyblade. "How 'bout I destroy you both?" Ven was unaffected by the pompous laugh of Vanitas. "The X-Blade is made of your heart, too, idiot. If you destroy it, your heart will vanish forever." "Whatever it takes. Anything to save Terra and Aqua." He didn't want his friends to be endangered all because of Ven being a weapon. If he had to die in order for his friends to live, Ven would make that sacrifice. Vanitas refrained himself from rolling his eyes. "Hmpf, it's always about your friends, isn't it?" "At least I have some! I've become a part of their heart, just as they've become a part of mine. My friends are my power...and I'm theirs!" Ven knew this was true, because he could feel it and he just knew they felt it too. Even while he fought Vanitas, Ven could feel their spirits in his Keyblade as he struck down Vanitas. Vanitas, the X-Blade and Ven's own Keyblade burst into particles of light as Ven drifted back down to the pillar floor. Light started surrounding Ven almost in a comforting way, but Ven wasn't afraid anymore. He wasn't afraid to die. With a smile, Ven's "spiritual" body and heart dispersed towards the black sky of his Station, Soul World. The comatose body of Ven and the unconsious one of Aqua's was found in the Lanes Between by Mickey. Using his Star Shard, he brought the two to the Mysterious Tower for Yen Sid to receive proper care. Aqua carried Ven's comatose body on her back and traveled to their destroyed home, the Land of Departure. Drifting deep into the castle, Aqua laid Ven onto a throne in a chamber and hid the room from any visitors by transforming the world into Castle Oblivion. During this time, Ven ventured back to his Soul World.... "This place...I've been here. So warm...I remember now. This is your heart." Ven's heart followed the familiar warmth and met up with the heart from the beginning. It was destiny for their hearts to meet. Why else would Ven be able to return back to the same heart? Ven asked the young boy if he could join his heart with him again and the young boy agreed with a soft smile. "Thanks." -- 10 years have passed, yet the stark white walls of the chamber remained the same, untouched. Though the small body that rested on the throne is gone. His heart had healed throughout the years in the protection of the young boy's heart. That young boy. Ventus now knew from residing in the boy's heart that his name was Sora. The reversal of events caused by Kingdom Hearts made Ven's heart return to his body, but....it still felt as though his heart was missing something. Something or someone? Vanitas. Ven's eyes shot open and took in the sight of a hospital room of some sort. Ven did not know he was in the world of Traverse Town, the world for those who are lost and are unable to return to their demolished world. Ven also did not know that he was 10 years into the future and a lot had changed during his deep slumber. Ven's search for his friends resumed, but he was oblivious to the dangers that were coming forth onto the worlds..... finishing up; roleplay sample; Getting up from his hospital bed with deep gasps of air, Ventus pulled out the different tubes and wires from his body and dashed out of the hospital. Thoughts of how he got here, where he was and similar questions plagued his mind and because of them accidentally knocked down papers from the hands of doctors. Ventus mumbled an apology as he pushed past the hospital doors. Once outside, Ventus took in the sight of the odd world. Maroon roofs topping the tall buildings, street lights illuminating pathways, neon signs blinding to the eye, Ventus had never been here before. He would've definitely remembered such a world. What is this place? Where am I?! Terra! Aqua! Ventus grabbed his head as surging pains pounded his mind. Memories of the X-Blade and Vanitas tortured his subconscious and the boy fell to his knees. People passing by stopped and turned towards the young blonde who seemed to be in great pain. Ventus didn't want to cause a scene so he got to his feet, pushed past the crowd, and ran off into a dark alleyway to clear his thoughts. Sitting on the ground, Ventus curled up into a ball and hung his head between his chest and knees. The battle between himself and Vanitas....it happened right? If so, then why was he here? Why was Ventus still alive and in this strange world? What happened to Terra and Aqua!? To Master Eraqus?! Was Master Xehanort still around?! "Argh!!" The death grip on his hair was shockingly not tearing out his golden blonde strands of dead skin cells. Ventus breathed in slowly, trying to calm himself down. Panicking was not going to answer his questions. With a sigh, the young Keyblade wielder pondered silently of his current situation. Terra....Aqua......I need you guys. Help me. I feel so alone... member title; "Swift Wind Returning to Bonds" anything else; Herp uh derp? Edited by Ventus, October 17, 2011, 5:01 pm.
