The hustle and bustle of the city always excited Kairi. She had been staying here in Hiun City at the pokemon center for a few days now, mustering up the courage to challenge the gym there. Kairi liked to take her time with these things. She wouldn't make a challenge until she was completely ready. Until she knew that her pokemon were ready. She sat down on her bed, glancing at her faithful flaaffy who sat beside her. "Maybe today Flaff?" she questioned, picking him up and holding him on her lap. He was warm and fluffy and nice. She loved to hold him, he made her happy. "Flaaffy!" the little pink lamb cooed. "Maybe we'll just get some french fries and see a movie instead?" Kairi suggested, standing up, Flaaffy in arms. Kairi left the pokemon center, pulling her pea-coat tightly around herself. It was frigid out that afternoon, and she could feel goosebumps crawling up her bare legs. She rushed into the cafe, looking down at Flaaffy, "Would you settle for a muffin?" she asked, though she had promised fries, the shop was another few blocks away. Flaaffy jumped up, gittering happily, which Kairi took as a 'Yes'. "Peppermint Mocha Latte, hot, and a banana chocolate chip muffin please," she said to the cashier. The man behind the counter gave her a cheery smile, and rang her out, handing over the drink and a small bag with the muffin inside of it. She sat at a small table by the window, Flaaffy jumping up on her lap. Kairi spit the muffin in two, giving the top to Flaaffy, and eating the bottom herself, while sipping her coffee and looking through a magazine. How could she challenge a gym today? She was so... relaxed. |

PSYCHOTIC GENIUS

Eww. The city. THIS city. Definitely not one Sho enjoyed returning to. Though, then again, he really hated most things other than math, beauty, himself, art, and pokemon. Yes, POKEMON. He was what was known as a "pokenerd" or a "super nerd" though that title didn't bug him all that much. It was almost like a compliment. Though he didn't go around dressing as pokemon like those zetta slow sons of digits. No way, he had class. At least, enough class to dress in a more "normal" matter. Anyways, Sho entered into the town, a frown on his face. And his Sneasel had the same frown. Neither of them wanted to be there. At all. But, siiiiiigh, they had to. It was the only city with the huge department store, AND SHO WANTED ALL THE LEMONADE HE COULD GET HIS PAWS ON. (NO. SCREW YOU POLICEMAN BRO ON THAT ONE ROUTE IN BLUE VERSION, I WANT THIS LEMONADE, YOU CAN GO DIE IN A DITCH) Anyways, Sho seemed to have found himself a bit lost, and it only made matters worse when his Sneasel decided it was a FABULOUS idea to up and run away when it snuffed out something delicious in the air. So there's Sho: pissed as can be. AND HE CAN'T FIND HIS WAY THROUGH THE CITY. AND NOW HIS POKEMON IS MISSING. Fan-tucking-fastic. So he's there, making a complete fool of himself, calling for his pokemon while his Sneasel is doing the smart thing and creeping up on Kairi and her fluffy Flaffy. He looked up to the trainer, eyes wide, just begging for some of that delicious muffin. And then it kind of makes himself comfortable on the free chair at the table and just keeps demanding food And Sho, meanwhile, is running around like a rampaging beedrill, looking for his lost 'mon. "Sneasel, where the FACTOR are y-" THERE. Sitting down. COZY? What in math's name is going on there? Obviously pissed, Sho stomped over, face turned into an obvious FROWN and face that looks like "bitch, you for real?" before trying his luck at making a calm face at Kairi. IT WASN'T WORKING VERY WELL. "......." What was he supposed to say? "Th...that's my zetta slow...Sneasel." He didn't do sorry, otherwise he may have apologized for it just UP AND TRYING TO GET FOOD. |

Gamzee Makara was not a normal Pokemon Trainer. Nope. God no. Lots of things set him apart from others. One of these things was the fact that he looked higher than the moon 24/7. Of course, there was also the whole "clown face paint" thing, the "indigo blood" thing, and the "13 years old and about six feet tall, not including the giant freaking horns coming out of his head" thing. And he had grey skin. And bright yellow eyes. And fangs. Other than that, he was perfectly normal. He walked lazily through the streets of Hiun City, his Mime Jr. toddling along beside him. Yeah, Gamzee loved this little motherfucker, and his bro just hated the red-and-white containment capsules, and really, who was he to trap him up in that place? How did they even work? How did that whole Pokemon fit in that little ball? It just didn't make any sense. Miracles, that's how. Haha, whoa, look at him getting all off-topic like that. But what was his old topic? Gamzee couldn't remember, but that was okay. Probably wasn't all that important anyway. Gamzee laughed a little, looking down at his "Pokebro". "Hey, little bro. Where you all up and motherfucking feeling that we should be getting at?" The Mime Jr. looked up happily. "Mime!" It walked off towards a nearby cafe, all mellow-like. Man, little motherfucker knew right at where he wanted to be. Gamzee followed the little Pokemon. Yeah, he had other Pokemon with him. Actually, he had all six he was allowed to have. But they were always so grouchy, so Gamzee thought, hey. Maybe they just liked being in the little capsule devices better. So he just let them chill. Damn, there he goes off on a motherfuckin' tangent again. He looked up and saw his little pro pointing at a pastry of some sort. So, Gamzee figured, why not? He walked up and ordered that bitch for him. He took the little treat and passed it to his Pokemon before squeezing in to a nearby table. The Mime Jr. jumped up next to him. Gamzee patted the little motherfucker and chilled at the table. |

...well, it had been a not-so-lazy day for Rhyme. She had gotten up early with the intent of leveling her Pokémon a bit, going to wander in the wild grass and fighting some easy creatures off. Her twin Pichus was doing fairly well, as were the rest of her little group- all growing slowly but steadily stronger, all doing better (if little by little). For a few hours they just practiced, getting better and better, practicing electricity and physical attacks. But... after a while, they ran into a trainer, one who was intent on battling it out, even if the blonde's Pokémon weren't as well trained as they needed to be. The girl pleaded, the trainer refused. She normally had no problem battling with other people, but this person had a lot of evolved, stronger Pokémon- she didn't stand a chance. Eventually, all of hers fell, and she had to bring them all back to the town and try to avoid any more encounters. She got them back to the Pokémon Center and had them all healed up. It was most certainly enough for the day, however. All of them were exhausted. So the girl came to a small café, gently leading the two Pichus along and keeping an eye on them. She went to the counter, ordered a hot chocolate for herself and one of the huge cinnamon buns the place sold. She nodded carefully to the cashier, paid him and picked up the food and cup. She carefully lead her Pokémon over to a spare table and put down the items, then picked each up and set them down in the chair opposite her. She took a sip of the beverage, setting it down to cool for a moment. "Well, didn't we have an interesting day?" she cooed sweetly to the twin Pichus, and they chirped in response. She gave a little smile and tore off pieces of the cinnamon bun, giving them pieces of the pastry to hold in their tiny paws and nibble on before taking a bit for herself. Her eyes flickered across the room as she sat there, looking a bit tired and just... worn out. She just needed to relax, really, after today's events. After there were only crumbs left on the wrapper and an empty cup, Rhyme looked over at her Pokémon. The two looked content, full, their eyes already half-shut as they sat in that little seat across from her. She let a tiny grin pull across her lips. "Come on, you two, time to go," she said, carefully standing and brushing icing remnants off of her emerald tank top, black shorts, and yellow hi-tops. The two stumbled along lazily, looking sleepy and content. Just as she was leaving, however, one managed to stumble and crash into the leg of a trainer standing over by his Sneasel and another trainer with her Flaaffy. "Oh, ah... I'm sorry," Rhyme said softly, a weak smile painting across her pale pink lips as she scooped up her Pichu, who looked dazed. "It's been a long day- he's a bit disoriented. My bad." The little yellow creature had a blank look on its face, Rhyme an apologetic one. ...whoops. |
