I've seen garrison become a good LS event in the past, but the organization of this was never as effective as it could have been if we scheduled it around the way that the FFXI week works. I think with recent changes it also is easier to do garrison than ever before. Consider the following: - You no longer have to bring level-cap gear. Your endgame stuff will still work, just not as win as usual. - The little training books are at many of the 30+ outposts. You can get RR there for next to nothing, as well as some other effects like a long-lasting regen or refresh. (NOTE:I haven't actually tied this w/garrison yet. Anybody know what effects will carry over?) Here's what I would do: Wait for the weekly conquest update on Sunday. Pick three locations for garrison, one for each Windy, Sandy and Basty. Ppl have that whole week to farm triggers for their respective nation. On Friday or Saturday or w/e towards the end of the week we gather at one of the outposts and start redeeming the triggers and doing garrison. After we use all the triggers we go to the next site and the next site. Everyone does lots differently, what follows is just one suggestion of how to do it: Your trigger = you get the first pick of what drops. Ppl that die in the fight get to lot on exp scrolls Everybody else then lots on everything else Over the course of several garrisons we try to make sure that it evens out (everybody gets an item via lot before somebody gets two or three items) but you know if you trigger the event, you will get first pick from that run.
