Easy Prey Posts: 20 Group: Members Member #38 Joined: February 14, 2008	Word. I'm Creedy and I'm from New Orleans, LA, USA. I turned 30 on 12 January this year ... not cool! I'm single and an accounting student at the University of New Orleans. I am a Tech Sergeant (E-6) in the Air National Guard and have been in 10.5 years. I've been overseas twice and have been to: Kuwait (twice), Saudi Arabia (twice), Iraq, Ireland, Germany, Egypt as well as many US states including Alaska. So, I just need to go somewhere in Australia and South America and I'll have been on every continent (except Antarctica, no desire for that, I hate any temperature below 60*F!). My house was wiped out in Katrina and I'm back to living with the parents, for now. I want to move, but it is so cheap living here! I don't have bills other than cell phone and insurance and get paid to go to school for free. Finally using those benefits I've been earning but not using my first 10 years in the Guard. I'm taking 18 hours this semester, so I'll be trying to limit my play, in the past I've played more than average I think (for US players anyway lol). I've played FFXI twice before, once when it first came out and again a couple of years ago. The first time, I had an Elvaan named Elvisto and got several jobs leveled up, my two highest being Dragoon (52) and Bard (30). The second time, I had a Galkan named Elvisto and got him to lvl 50 as a Paladin. This time, I made an Elvaan because I know I want melee and will probably do Dragoon and Pally again as I really liked both of those jobs, but still in the air, kinda. I found yesterday when I was playing that when you rest, you no longer lose TP. I think that is so awesome! If anyone wants to enlighten me on any other changes in the last couple of years, that'd be swell. Thanks for having me, I look forward to playing with you all when I get some time to play, hopefully tomorrow (Thursday).

Tough Posts: 147 Group: Members Member #7 Joined: January 1, 2008	I recently came back to game as well, and I'm not sure of ALL the changes but the ones I've noticed were the TP resting change [apparently dependant on signet] and the recovery rate seems to have been tweaked for some jobs as well [My war and mnk's resting hp recovery seems to be MUCH higher than say... ninja or thief]. Haven't worked out the formulas yet, but it seems ALOT easier to solo now. I've heard talk about innate buffs against even match or lower mobs... not sure if that's anything new.
