For those farming the items needed :

Boss: Delver (Derived from Craver)

Specials
    Brain Spike - Damage attack, one target.
    Empty Thrash - High damage attack, one target.
    Impalement - High damage attack, one target. Damage varies oddly.
    Murk - AOE Slow + Gravity.
    Promyvion Brume - AOE damage + poison + hate reset.
    Carousel - Higher AOE damage.

    * Carousel is a bothersome attack as healing your damage dealers often requires Curaga, which can shift hate in unpleasant ways. Utsusemi can block the Carousel. Utsusemi can't block the AOE poison effect from Promyvion Brume. This is an incredibly nasty skill to face; Hysteroanima will be your friend.

    * Make sure you bring Antidote potions to self-cure Poison; your healer will not have time to give Poisona to people. The hate-reset also makes doing so a dangerous proposition.

    * This boss is incredibly hard to fight if it's allowed to spam its skills. Try triggering Hysteroanima every 20 seconds (or six weapon attacks) to keep him from ever getting one off. Bring Antidote potions - Brume resets hate; if your WHM is doing Poisona repeatedly he may find himself being chased. Running away with Gravity on is ... tricky.

Defeat the Delver successfully and you will receive the Key Item Light of Mea.

I've been getting more into leveling various crafts lately... I'll brew some antidotes.
-made up 17 antidotes while skilling up, think this will be sufficient? let me know if we need more.-

Also, I have 3-4 terroanimas and hysteroanimas each. Anyone is welcome to them. [2k synth fee appreciated, though not necessarily required for shellmates] This should probably be sufficient.

I have no psychos, but do we really need them? Will probably farm some just to be safe.

5PM CST is... around 12:00 my time I think, which works for me, I have sky that day, but that usually ends around an hour before that, I can farm some anima in advance too if that's needed. ^^

Having just done the Promy's I can tell you Psychoanima is very much helpful. I believe it intimidates the boss for about 30 second, more or less preventing it from acting except for TP moves, which I believe Hysteroanima blocks.

An LS vote was held, and majority vote is that YES, we ARE doing an ENM before we take on the big boss at the spire of mea tomorrow.

You MUST talk to Venessa H10 Ru Lude Gardens, pick the MEA option, and recieve the censer of animus.

This fight MUST be done before the Promy boss fight - and we do this fight as a dry run - which means, no throwing anima, no using 2 hours, etc. Your own job experience , food, and reraise are all that is needed for this. Reward is EXP, (in a group of six, usually around 3k) a decent blob of gil, and a small chance for a LS member to obtain some nifty jewellery.

When everyone in your party is ready, enter the Craig of Mea and work your way up to the spire. When you are ready, click on the door inside the spire and choose the battle Playing Host. You have 30 minutes to defeat the boss, which is an empty NM named Envier.

The Envier uses AoE weaponskills that can nearly one-shot a paladin. Also, the Envier can spawn up to three Seethers during the fight, but you only need to defeat the main mob to win.

A sound battle plan to beat this boss is:

    * Tank the Envier away from the mages, so they are not hit by AoE attacks.
    * Use an anima when the NM is at 75, 50 and 25 percent health. This will greatly reduce the chance of melees getting hit by the Envier's powerful AoE moves.
    * If mages or summoners are going to assault the NM with 2-hr abilities, have then wait until the NM is at least half dead before unleashing.
    * Have a healer be ready to cure your tank instantly.

Note: If anyone dies during the fight, DO NOT TOUCH THE REWARD SPHERE THAT APPEARS AFTER THE BOSS DIES UNTIL EVERYONE IS RAISED. People who are still dead when the sphere is touched will not receive their exp reward.

One more tip: If you're doing all three ENMs in one outing, try to save offensive 2-hr abilities for this fight, as well as invincible if you have a paladin tank. It's good to take down the Envier as fast as possible because of its dangerous AoE moves.

aw, that sucks. i looked up today what this was all about, the promy stuff. i'll start the promethia missions next time i get a little while to play and hopefully be able to help out next time. i've been sick the last week and a half and have got to catch up on stuff the next few days, so you won't be seeing me on probably till thursday, may still do some mule-work from time to time.

The repeat run organised by Tyrai was a great success - darkly, Hohenheim, Maharishi, Kewico, and Myself completed Mea .

I now have level 50, some brand spanking new areas, and g1 completed as a result!
