Wandering Soul
[ * * * * * * * * ]
 Emotional Vampire
----------------------

In honeyed tones she whispers,
Words of malice to infect my mind,
To make me change the views I hold,
A dark silhouettte of words clouding my opinions.
My conciousness fights to hold onto what i know is true,
While all the time her voice, soft as syrup,
Spouts poison, venom, in my ear.

Innocent eyes hiding a soul black as night,
Sugary smiles hiding thoughts far from gentle.
She tries to break into my thoughts,
Tries to distance me from those I hold dear.
This stranger in my life, this vampire of emotions.

With subtle manouveres she ingratiates herself into my circle,
An ugle passion for hatred fuelling her one,
As if in a trance, she continues despite my pleas,
Despite my blanking her,
Continues in her plans,
A gush of words I do not wish to hear, or to believe.

Discreet whispers, intoxicating like alcohol,
Hard to resist, but still untrue,
Face so pretty masking a hideous mind,
Her delight in the pain she causes sickening me.
Her mission to corrupt my mind,
I cannot absolve her in this,
This vampire of emotions


(Look what a cheery soul I am! )
