[size=1][ Name:[/size] ] Island, or Isle for short [ Age: ] 11 years [ Gender: ] F, but she is a tomboy [ Appearance: ] Isle is quite short, but that might be because of her age. It is typical for her to wear a green shirt with a huge Pokeball marking on it. She also has a necklace with a special Pokeball on it that she's saving for her favorite Pokemon. (Not necessarily her starter.) Her pants are typically jeans, but occasionally she wears a blue skort as well. She wears a hair band, which is purple in color. Her hair itself is short, only reaching to the center of her neck, and its color is blond. Another thing quite noticeable about her is the fact that she isn't very flexible, nor is she built to be strong, but she certainly is built to be a lightning bolt when it comes to speed. Her eyes are a bright green. [ Personality: ] Island is a gentle lover of Pokemon. Growing up with Pokemon influenced this. She loves all Pokemon, but she especially likes lightning and grass types. Isle is brave and she won't back down from any challenge no matter what the cost. However, she does know when she is crossing the line and stops whenever she is. She talks a lot, but though she's a chatterbox, it isn't necessarily annoying, because she rarely repeats herself; she just explains a lot. She loves music; that's why she takes an mp3 player wherever she goes. Isle knows exactly how to talk to a Pokemon, and unlike some trainers of her generation, she doesn't think they're tools, and she thinks that they're just as intelligent as humans are; they just can't do the same things humans can. Isle thinks of everyone as equals; she does not treat anyone differently. She never begrudges, nor does she grudge later. However, sometimes she can be a bit naive and gullible, and this sometimes leads her into trouble. But overall, she's a brave, talkative sweetheart. [ History: ] Island grew up loving Pokemon. Her family had always associated itself with Pokemon and training them; her father and her brother would always go train with each other. Her father had even been a gym leader at one occasion. One day her brother set off on an adventure, and told Isle that she was next after he would come back. And come back he did. Isle always admired her brother; she would always believe that he won every single battle whenever he was gone. She was also envious that he was able to leave on his own with a Pokemon. Anyone could take a stab at this part of her history and know it is true, that she had grown up in a family of Pokemon lovers, that her dad had been a gym leader, and her brother had become a great Pokemon trainer, and perhaps could become a Pokemon master. What they didn't know of some more personal things, like particular Pokemon that Isle came in contact with. You see, her family was an Eeveelution family. They would love to breed Eevees and then cause them to evolve, all but one. But they didn't treat all the Pokemon like their only purpose was to evolve, and dang right, their only purpose wasn't to evolve. You see, they wanted them not only for evolution and companionship, but they needed the Eeveelutions to find out which particular type Isle wanted. Isle liked Eevees, the originals, but she didn't find much passion for the one that was raised by her family. The Vaporeon she came with hated her guts, and so she didn't like water types all that much (though she does now). The Flareon was cuddly but almost burned her hand off when she pet it the wrong way. The Glaceon gave her the cold shoulder (no pun intended). All of the Pokemon except two didn't really give for Isle. Most ignored her; others hated her because she treated them wrong. None really had the patience to come with her. Except for two. Leafeon and Jolteon. In the first place, she was told not to pet Jolteon, which is probably why it liked her so much. Leafeon is also a very cuddly Pokemon and so loved her anyway. She then asked her mother and father if she could keep the Leafeon and Jolteon. They told her that she could while she stayed at home; she could not take them on her journey. The Leafeon, Jolteon, and Isle became best friends. She had named the Jolteon "Sparky" and the Leafeon "Spring". She would sometimes groom them (she had learned how to properly groom Sparky after having him for a year), she would sometimes play with them, she would sometimes cuddle with them, and sometimes she would just be with them, just watching the clouds or admiring the beauty. She thought of them as pets for a while; she did not think Pokemon as capable of speech or anything. She had always thought, though Leafeon and Jolteon were great, they were not equals with humans. They weren't smart. The only abilities they had were in battling. Boy did they prove her wrong! One day, when she was ten, she had gotten very sick. She had a flu, and her parents weren't home to check on her. Sparky and Spring wanted to play with her but then noticed Isle was sick. They soon talked to each other on what to do. Isle did not know they were chatting about her; she thought they didn't chat, anyway. But then the two finally had an idea in mind. Spring jumped into the bed and cuddled with Isle, making Isle feel better emotionally to have a friend by the side. It seemed that they truly cared for her; more than something pets could do. Meanwhile, Sparky ran off out of the house to try to find her mother and father. Sparky told them in Pokelanguage that she was sick. They did not understand Sparky but they knew he had something good to tell, so they followed him and discovered Isle sick. If it weren't for Sparky and Spring, Isle probably wouldn't have made it. Ever since, Isle thought of Pokemon and humans as one and the same. She would always talk to her Pokemon about travels and days went by fast. Soon enough, it was her eleventh birthday, the day in which she wanted to leave. She hugged Spring and Sparky; she would miss them, but she had to leave. And saying her goodbyes, she left the house to find a journey. ~* [ Roster Pokemon ] [normal sprite]eevee[/normal sprite] EeveeF Lv.5 Type: :normal: Status: Normal Nickname: Mia Happiness: 0 Item: [None] ~ Tackle ~ Growl [ Boxed Pokemon ] [None] [ Items ] Pokeball x5 Crystal Lantern x1 [ Money ] $2500 [ Badges ] [None] |
