A green vine tattoo that goes from the left side of her head down to the upper part of her back and wrist. Also an ODST insignia tattoo on her right shoulder.
What is your character’s personality?: Alice is clever, focused, modest, steadfast, and reserved. She doesn't take well to large crowds in a social area. Also preferring that R&R be done with her team or by herself. But having some of the undesirable qualities in a person. Such as being intense and repressed from her recent events. Alice's attitude towards UNSC/ONI/UEG of the sorts is one of loyalty and dedication that came from her father's many years of service. She sought to make her father proud by rising through the ranks the military had to offer. When it comes to battlefield prowess; Alice is calculating in a way of precision. Fighting more passive-aggressive in the sense of letting her opponent move first so she can counter and act next; find the enemies weaknesses early on.
What is your character's history?:
Alice was born into a wealthy family on Reach, New Alexandria. Scott, her father, was a Captain in the UNSC and her mother, Karin, a field medic. This meant that Alice rarely saw them together or even alone. But she still managed to have a loving relationship with them both. It wasn't until she was ten that Alice would see her mother more often in her life due to pregnancy. It seems Mr. and Mrs. Stryker did find each other during some R&R time. With her mother home retired and her new born baby sister, Alice became a caretaker of sorts. She handled more of the basic family necessities such as cooking and cleaning. Something Karin wasn't really good at, but saw that it gave Alice an early push towards maturity and responsibility.
At the age of fifteen, Alice becomes a champion winner of her districts wrestling tournament. Wrestling is what set her a part from most in her school. Only a hand full of female students dared to step in the circle with a larger male counterpart. Through pure calculation, she bested an opponent twenty-five pounds out of her weight class. It was a very hard fought victory that both sides deserved, but her opponent's weaknesses got the better of him. Unfortunately at the tournaments after party; Alice and her mother received horrible news that Scott Stryker had died during a heavy Covenant assault. At his funeral; Alice realized what she wanted to do with her life. A career like her father, joining the UNSC to make her father proud. It was a journey she felt ready for both mentally and physically.
The time had come for Alice's graduation from school. She had earned a handful scholarships for Universities offering an Officers course for the UNSC. But her patience failed her, and she declined. Alice wanted to get on the field as soon as she could. Feeling that sitting in a class for a few more years wasn't going to win a war. Karin was disappointed by this, but soon understood why Alice had to do this now. With emotional exchanges behind her, she left on a transport ship to the training facility. Around her neck a silver half heart necklace. Elizabeth, her sister, had the other.
Alice at eighteen successfully finishes UCMB, but is offered a spot for ODST Training. Once there she realizes that UCMB was a cake walk compared to this. The rigorous training change Alice mentally. It made her more serious than she was before. When team work wasn't involved Alice saw it that she was number one. However it wasn't the case all the time, but it was most of the time. As ODST training was about to finish she got rid of that competitive attitude. Instead she traded it for a team mentality. She didn't make it as a leader during squad tactics, but became a pivotal role as the teams supporter. When things looked grim and down; Alice was the one pushing everyone forward. Failure: never an option in Alice's handbook.
New Alexandria, Reach is where Alice witnessed the death of her Sister and Mother. While she was evacuating civilians and fighting incoming Covenant forces, Alice ran into her family. Quickly she ran them to a transport ship as priority number one. After she felt they were secure, Alice ran back to fend off the entrance to the port. But as she ran; a big flash of light could be seen out of her peripherals. The transport ship that Alice's family had been on was shot down. She froze in an instant to watch the fiery shell of the transport ship fall into the ocean. A series of ringing went on in her head, but was broken by her comms.
A few months had passed since the fall of Reach. This time the battle hit Earth in New Mombasa. Alice was in a unit escorting high priority targets out of the city to a safe zone. It was nearing four hours after drop, and the unit was only six klicks out from their secure location. However they were met by a Covenant ambush. As the enemy was coming in from behind, a private radioed the safe zone for backup. Quickly moving all the civvies to cover, Alice pushed up to her squad. But they were being approached fast. Multiple Sangheili rushed them with swords ignited and many unggoy followed suit. Two Kig-Yar snipers lingered in the distance. They had enough cars and debris to hold the push, but not forever. Fire was exchange by both sides, but the Covenant still found room to move forward. Two pelicans and a convoy of warthogs showed up to the units rescue.
As the pelicans swooped in; it took out most of the ground targets. With backup now arrived, Alice put her attention on the civvies. She covered them to the M831 transport hogs. Giving the hoods a quick bang they were off to the safe-zone. Alice charged in joining her squad to clean up any remaining Covenant. On approaching she noticed a distortion coming out of a near by building. It was making it's way behind her team. Quickly Alice charged her squadmate pushing him out of the way. The camouflaged Sangheili shot three needles towards the unknowing ODST, but caught Alice through the back instead. The needles went through her abdomen and the Sangheili pushed her lifeless body to the ground. The remaining ODST's opened fired killing the flanking enemy before he could make another step.
One of the two pelicans dropped down to get Alice. A flatline rang throughout the pelican as it was taking off. The ODST's that helped her to the pelican saw this, pausing in silence before returning to clean up remaining forces. Alice Stryker was considered dead for seven minutes and forty-two seconds. The medic on board looked up when hearing the machine confirm a heartbeat. Quick demands were made to the pilot to speed up. The presumed dead Scott Stryker kept tabs on Alice and her missions when he could. Catching wind of this event, Scott demanded his daughter a priority number one to see medical attention at the facility. Enough time for ONI to swoop in and take her. All this time Scott had been working as an executive officer aboard an ONI orbital facility. Alice's first stop was Lockhart Medical Station. There she remained in a coma for two weeks, but when she awoke. Alice suffered from selective amnesia. Forgetting certain things such as her name, friends, loved ones, how she was wounded, and small amounts of training. While Alice was recovering from her abdomen wound. She received and still receives monthly therapy to ease in her forgotten memories.
A few months of physical and mental recovery let Alice train lightly. When she was ready, Scott had her transferred to an ONI orbital training facility. There she was slowly remade into a Section-I agent and moved up to PO2. She underwent it's vigorous physical and mental training. Something she had forgot with the ODST. Scott would oversee her multiple reconnaissance, assassinations, and on field interrogations. He also became very controlling of her. Most of Alice's choices in what she wanted to do and where she needed to be were mostly decided by Scott. Little did she know that this micromanager was her own father. Only time will tell if she ever figures it out. Due to her injuries, Alice did not step foot on the fields of the great war again. But she did receive a lot of experience during her first year of being with ONI. Many insurrection problems still lingered. Alice remembered in time what it was like to fight the Covenant. And fighting humans seemed like a foreign concept. As she was so use to everyone being united to take down the enemy of the great war. However this does not affect her view towards the enemy and still fights them with lethality.
What is your character's affiliation?: ONI Section-1/UNSC Marine Corps/ODST
What do you see as your character's future?: Alice plans on rising up in the ranks within ONI and could even transition over to the Sartan-IV program. She can see her limitations currently. So she feels the S-IV program will better her as a soldier and help her do the things she otherwise couldn't as an ordinary human.
Explain the background and role of your applied race/class?: Hunter - With a high success rate. She is usually assigned when a high priority target is on the run and either needs to be taken down in the field or brought back for ONI. Alice has received the callsign/nickname "Artemis" for her skill in tracking and hunting targets. The mission that awarded her with such a title was when six Insurrection officers where freed from their transport by ambushing Insurrectionist. Alice was then assigned to hunt and capture all six and did successfully while also finding out who gave the transport route to the Insurrectionist. This has also led her to do reconnaissance behind enemy lines on many occasions.
Marksmen - This is something that Alice has always been skillful at. After her coma, she forgot some of the training received by Maric, but it was brought back after going through similar training with ONI personnel. The combination of her two skill sets make her an unwanted predator on the battlefield.
What would you consider to be your character’s shortcomings?:
Light Psychiatric Disorder - She receives therapy monthly for this not to occur, but even that isn't enough to keep her memories from popping up at a moments notice. With the treatment she receives it is rare that it happens on the field. Only one known occurrence.
Getting Personal - Alice doesn't hate people. She hates opening up to them (other than her therapist) and when they open up to her. She isn't a shoulder to cry on. In fact when someone starts to share their feelings, Alice sees it more as awkward if anything.
Memory Loss - From her coma, Alice has a hard time remembering things of sentimental value. Such as the names and faces of friends and loved ones.
No jokes - Some have found her to lack a sense of humor and be intense to most things.
Pointy Stuff - Alice has grown to hate needles due to seeing them every other day after her injury. Not to the point of passing out at the sight, but can be difficult to prick sometimes.
Daddy Issues - Alice has unspoken issues with Scott Stryker. His last name personally hidden from her. She feels that Scott saved her life and that she owes him everything. And that if she disobeyed him there would be harsh consequences. Scott is very controlling towards her for reasons of his own. Being that he wants her to follow in his footsteps.
What would you consider to be your character’s strengths?:
Sharpshooter - Alice is an excellent shot when it comes to rifles such as the BR85HB, M392 DMR, M6C/SOCOM, and even a scoped MA5D.
The Gray Wolf - Hunting has been proven as Alice's best skill. Her ability to track, trap, and chase makes her an apex predator on the battlefield.
Adaptive - Alice learns to adapt and survive when things get hairy. She doesn't plan on getting stabbed again any time soon.
The Sponge Brain - With Alice's memory loss, she values new ones. Any information received she soaks up and stores for a later date. (But she isn't a super science genius)
How many "NPCs" would your character lead and how?: Zero
Honestly, my only concern was the energy sword but with how it's cutting when I read into it and how quick it all was plus immediate medical care. I don't see a problem with it. Over all I mean it's a complicated story but it has a lot of potential plus Valk has made other stories work well. I don't know if my plus one means anything but hey. +1
Two little minor details. having the torso/abdomen impaled on an Energy Sword is almost certainly fatal dude, I can't think of any characters in the fiction who have survived very long, hell. Even a minute after it happens, it just fries your internal organs and there's no real procedure you can perform in the field to prevent that, it's not like a gunshot wound. Seems just a wee bit too far of a stretch bro, something just as Traumatic and potentially fatal would be needlers, Needlers are messy, and I mean -very- messy. That'd give Alice something to remember and horrible scarring to go with.
That said, everything else about Alice is really solid dude! And I'm confident you can handle this as a Roleplayer. But, why did you submit this for application again? Her class and race combination is Free & Revocable, you didn't need an App to roleplay her? Her rank isn't military Aristocracy or did I completely miss something?

What is your character’s personality?:Elizabeth is very outspoken. Being charismatic and witty. She has a very colorful personality and language to match. However do not mistake her for someone whom just kids around at all. When is comes to combat or professional business, Elizabeth devotes her efforts towards the task at hand. But her outspokenness has led to others calling her insensitive and insulting. She does this to mentally train people to not let words cut you down. Because if you are weak to words then you are no use to anyone. Elizabeth acts more predatory on the field and during intense conversations. Stalking enemies and talking to them in a manor that makes most of her victims nervous, hesitant, and submissive. Elizabeth seeks freedom in life, but isn't sure on how to fully achieve it. It becomes a struggle sometimes to follow direct orders because she loves to do them her way. This is from the constant oppressiveness she received from her father when she was with ONI for a brief time.
What is your character's history?:
Interview with Hunter
What happened before Reach is a concern to no one really. Or it's just so melodramatic that you've heard it thousand times. My sister was the star, our parents served in the military. Our father died when I was little, and my mother was killed evacuating Reach. Oh and I may have been in the same ship that my mother was in. But no, I didn't die. I drifted ashore, and was picked up by a group of Marines. And I was missing my fucking right arm! Can you believe that? I'm a righty for fucks sakes! Anywho, turns out that daddy wasn't so dead. He went all spook on us and joined up with ONI. Seriously? What's with this family 'dying' and joining the ranks of a bunch of ghostly assholes? So Dad caught wind that I was alive and had me immediately evacuated. I don't know. Probably has some pull up their in the shadow lands...
Sadly my stay came to an abrupt end after a few months of therapy with this hunk of metal. I never wanted to join the military. But after training a little bit. Something within had awaken. I enjoyed the violence my father put me through. Now at the time I didn't know it was him. He kept his face in the shadows a lot like some creep trying to snatch a handful. But when I did see his face? My god he was fucking hideous. Like if you shaved one of those Brutes or whatever, and lit his face on fire with napalm? Yes, that bad. And when I say I enjoy the violence. I don't mean I'm a raging fucking psychopath who gets herself off on the sight of blood or hearing the screams of your victims. But, it has it's own touch with me. That feeling of control over someone. Playing with them like your own personal toy. Does that make me sound crazy? No, I mean if I'm sent to kill them. Well, they did something wrong.
Where was I? Oh yeah, so ONI and I didn't agree. So I used their resources and my fathers against them to escape. The real pain in the ass was the tracker they put in my arm. I mean, you try and explain to a bunch of ex-innies, and shady ass mercenaries that ONI was going to be knocking down their door in a few moments to claim their property. So, they sawed my arm off. The robot one of course, and a nice gentleman was nice enough to take me under his wing for the next year. His group was so rag tag, but they were pretty good at this covert spy shit. That's where I learned my talents. Yeah, ONI helped spark the flame. But these guys? They taught me the REAL shit. There were certain momenta where I thought my teacher was former ONI. He knew some crazy shit. Some days would be maneuvers to subdue people. kill them, or what have you. Others were just acting and playing the part you needed to play.
I ran with them for a while. But after Mr.Jeffery died the group wasn't the same. Mr.Jeffery was the one who brought me in. This cunt Riley tried to take charge and I wasn't having it. So, I left. I mean, I may have taken some of their shit with me. But I'm sure they don't want it back? The rest of my time has been spent doing jobs for people that are either too scared or incapable. Mainly the first. About a month ago a contact of mine told me that my sister was seen with a group of spooks. No way to confirm that until I see it with my own two eyes. But if it's true? Then I may want to pay daddy a visit. Try an convince big sis to work for us, yeah? Of course that's if you want me. And... I don't think I can cover the check. Do you mind?
What is your character's affiliation?: Miscellaneous black market mercenary groups/contacts, Forlorn Rangers.
What do you see as your character's future?: Elizabeth is good at what she does. But she still has room for improvement. She is willing to learn from anyone willing to teach. Still seeking freedom, Elizabeth also would like to bring her sister on board with the Forlorn Rangers.
Explain the background and role of your applied race/class?: She is a very charismatic assassin. It's not always blades and bullets with her. Sometimes words work just fine.
