Robot Masters are the most advance robots on Earth. Ever since the disappearance of Doctor Albert Wily, Robot Masters have been able to live how they want as long as they don't cause any destruction to the city. However, there are theories that perhaps Wily isn't gone for good as one would hope.

They say that if you wander far enough into the woods bordering Monsteropolis to the North, you might stumble upon an old abandoned mansion. They say you're close by when you start seeing inexplicably dead flora, rotting trees, and an eerie silence. No birds chirping or squirrels chattering. Only the sound of leaves crunching beneath your feet and an occasional airplane passing overhead.

Bullshit.

The mansion itself is said to be cursed. Or haunted. Or bewitched. Or whatever one chose to believe. Owned by a wealthy family in the early 1800s, it was once a grand manor, kept looking pristine and immaculate, but by the 1850s, it had begun to fall into disrepair, forgotten in the woods and rarely seen by hikers or travelers. It is said to have became a tramping ground for witches, cults, and devil worshippers, who came to the mansion to perform demonic sacraments and such without intrusion.

That's bullshit, too.

No, standing before the imposing mansion; which only took a few hours of searching, walking in circles, tripping, falling down ravines, and screaming to find; it looked relatively normal. There was no way in hell that this place could be haunted, but Proto Man had swore on his hypothetical life that it most definitely was, trying to scare Forte and Shadow Man. The three agreed to seek the location out and stay there for a night, to prove that either, "A", it was not haunted, in which case, HA, Bass wins, or "B", it was haunted. Which it wasn't, and Bass was not scared at all.
"Wake up kid, it's half past your youth
Ain't nothin' really changes but the date
You a grand slammer, but you no Babe Ruth
You gotta learn how to relate."

He did Have to admit. This was a pretty impressive design, The Mansion in the middle of the woods. The earths natural detail as well as the scenery was perfect for a scare. In all honesty he had no intention of going up here, with the two of the most ANNOYING Robots in the WORLD. And Just getting up here was a hassle with there constant bickering of whom was better and why and On top of that the Girlish screaming from ever lightning strike that filter through the gray sky, was almost unbearable to listen to. But when Protoman so 'sweetly' Challenged him, How could Shadow Man resist? It was in his Binary code to prove himself, as a ninja. To uphold his rank. Even if the title was 'Not scared of some old creepy supposedly-haunted house in the middle of the woods.'

And He could tell you this was the reason why he decided to come. And he Would to. But the truth of the matter he really didn't want to come here at all. Not because of the two bots that accompanied him. No, Because what could possibly be true and lurking in that house. He was...VERY Superstitious. Very. Very. Okay maybe the Devil worshipers and Demons and the eerie greenery smothering the house was a bit much but Ghosts Part? Yeah he Believed that. He Just hoped Blues was lying because Vengeful spirits were Nothing anyone....Even a robot should Mess with. And Possession was Easier with Machines.

'Maybe we should just leave.' Shadow man was thinking, as he stopped to peer up at the large stone-brick house, Having the urge to go back and runaway. He really didn't like the Idea of some Bad spirit messing with them, it worse than anything. Even being called chicken for the rest of his Life. Even if he was to be called 'Yowamushi' for the rest of his days, then damn it he didn't care at least he would live!

How ever it was to late, the Three of them were standing at the front door before he got pulled away from his thoughts. And if something he never did was back away from a Challenge.

Now...Which one of them was going to open the door?

The red-armored Robot Master stood in front of the old manor's doors, momentarily looking back at the other two. He'd roped them into coming here with him, and truthfully it was mostly because he didn't want to go inside alone. A rather childish reason, but it couldn't be helped now.

"You guys ready?" Blues asked, giving the other two a grin.

Of course, Proto Man isn't the kind to wait for an answer when it comes to these things. He suddenly pushed the doors open, the ease of this action likely being due to the fact that the doors were, in fact, old and brittle. Not to mention, he's literally a robot with heavy armor. That could've been it.

As the doors swung open, a large gust of wind suddenly blew out of the mansion, causing Blues's scarf to be blown back. He might have just shivered. Just a little bit. It's just because it was cold. Yeah.
The die is cast! He can do nothing but advance
The eternally wandering adventurer
tumbles through a bizarre spiral!
