The wording as read from the site: Viridian Emissary _____________________ 1G Creature- Elf Scout When Viridian Emissary is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, you may search your library for a basic land card and put that card onto the battlefield tapped. Then shuffle your library. 2/1 Edit: Not as ramp worthy as Lotus Cobra but against aggro decks with removal it's actually better. The STE for block play that plays nice with combat damage. I like it and it's possibly a top 5 card for the set. Edited by Redguywins, Jan 19 2011, 02:05 AM.

I will put money on it that this isn't a top 10 card of the set. It may be played in elves but that is about it. Other decks don't want to "wait" for their land. Sorry, but you are wrong here IMO Edited by Febiv, Jan 19 2011, 05:19 AM.

Allowing your opponent's to control whether you get the land is really bad. This will be a sideboard card against aggro at best, but probably not since there are better options to wreck aggro decks. |

You're probably right. But I still stand by its better than Cobra when facing aggro.
