I saw rise against live yesterday. It was epic. I also thought it was funny that the Rage against the Machine that was playing during the sound check for Rise had more people moshing then when Break Even was playing and asking people to jump.

People ask me why I like country music. I tell them, "Because country music is life in music form."

I present you Exhibit A:

Guess that explains it. Nice song.

Anyway, I gave the Them Crooked Vultures album a listen and they sound awesome. The album was alright with songs that I like and songs that I don't.

You should. The Who are awesome.

Can't say 'no' to that one. I listened to a bunch of other Who songs (most are from the Keith Moon-era) like "Love Reign O'er Me", "Bargain", and "Squeeze Box". I owe special thanks to that book and Ritsu. :D

EDIT: Just listened to some Jeff Beck. Now I understand why this guy was famous and revered by many.

From what I've heard by The Who, witch isnt that much, I enjoy all but one song. (That being Pinball Wizzard.) It does take a couple of listens to enjoy them.

Most recent song I listened to? Some weird song my mom was listening to that just kept repeating the same verse: "we ain't nothing but mammals so let's do it like they do it on the discovery channel"

Weird song.

Edit: Speaking of The Who, they wrote the theme for CSI right? What's the name of that song?

You're so young it hurts.

Bloodhound Gang, "Bad Touch". It's not that weird; it's actually fairly well-known.

Well, I'm probably the youngest one here at 15. (16 in November) Plus I dont really listen to much outside of GH/RB. That's why I only have ~330 songs on my iPod.

*searches song on iTunes* yeah, that's it. Maybe weird wasn't the best word to describe it.

They didn't write the theme for CSI. They had a song, which was a huge hit that the CSI used as their theme ;). That song is "Won't Get Fooled Again". You need to listen to some more Who.

Also I fixed some errors in your post. :)

I thought it was Won't Get Fooled Again after hearing it on RB, but I couldn't hear the YYYYYYEEEEAAAAAAHHHH as loudly as I do in CSI

Well, it depends on which CSI you would be talking about. For CSI Miami it's "Won't Get Fooled Again", for CSI: New York it's "Baba O' Riley", and for CSI it's "Who Are You".

If you can you should try to listen to all of Who's Next. Phenomenal record.

And Jeff Beck is awesome. Which stuff did you listen to? His stuff with the Yardbirds, Jeff Beck Group, Beck, Bogart & Appice, or solo?

The Jeff Beck Group (with Rod Stewart) is his best work.

Myself, I'm listening to some Elton John.

I agree. Who's Next is definitely their best album.

I mostly listened to Jeff Beck's You Had It Coming and Emotion & Commotion but also like his old ones like Scatterbrain and Freeway Jam. I listened to a little bit of the Yardbirds but not so much to make me love them. As for the rest, I may yet to try.

I'd say my favorite album from him is Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.
