you sound a tad bit mad brah I listened to Tame Impala's Innerspeaker, MGMT's Oracular Spectacular, and Chairlift's Something on Spotify tonight. Tame Impala was about the same as I remember. Good, modern psychedelic hard rock stuff. It has obvious influences from older bands, but doesn't sound like it's stuck in the wrong era like some bands who attempt it nowadays. Good album. I've owned MGMT's Congratulations since it was released almost 2 years ago. I love that album. I've never given the debut a listen, though. I've heard it wasn't as good and is a bit lackluster. I couldn't think of anything else to listen to so I gave it a listen. I thought it was fantastic. Maybe even better than Congratulations. Chairlift is a band I randomly found on Pitchfork's app on Spotify. It got a good rating, so I took a chance on it. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was mostly above-average indie pop with some good female vocals. There was some electronic stuff going on, too, but not a whole lot. |

Was at Dream Theater's concert in Manchester on Thursday (which is absolutely amazing) where they were supported by Periphery. I thought they were quite good so I've been listening to them a fair bit since. |

I found a band a few months ago who I now absolutely love. They're called Nekrogoblikon. Id link to a song but I'm not on my PC so I can't. Check them out. They call it Goblin Metal, and it's pretty cool. You can tell they're Children of Bodom influenced. |

I just listened to deadmau5's Get Scraped and it sounds completely different from his earlier works. It's like a mix of Aphex Twin and the Prodigy here and there. I think the highlight of the album would be "Intelstat" which samples "Reincarnation" from Ghost in the Shell. |

Yeah, a horribad one. I listened to the new Alcest album. Pretty awesome. They completely got rid of brutal vocals in this one, though. Neige has the best harsh vocals I've ever heard, so that's disappointing. But they do chill stuff pretty well, so it was still a great listen. Also listened to the self-titled album from Neige's other band, Amesoeurs. That album has mostly (clean) female vocals, with Neige doing the harsh vocals. It was pretty damn awesome. |
