"Survive to Die" by Destruction Pretty great album. The high singing is a bit odd, but it's all good. |

I've had Ted Nugent's "Motor City Madhouse" stuck in my head all day. At least it's an awesome song. Also, I have to play "Runnin' Down a Dream" at a guitar recital later in the month, so I've been listening/playing that. |

I just finished listening to Enslaved's album "Vertebrae". One of the best albums I've heard recently. According to wikipedia they play Progressive Metal/Viking Metal/Black Metal. A very good mixture of clean, harmonised vocals and beastly gutteral shrieked vocals. I highly recommend anyone who likes interesting, relaxing and heavy music to check this album out. After one listen I don't really know what I liked the best, especially since there wasn't a single second I was bored. "The the Coast" was good. :P |

I was listening to stuff from the Map of Metal. I listened to some of the Heavy Metal bands that I hadn't heard of (Sir Lord Baltimore is someone I need to get into), along with some Neue Deutsche Harte and Oriental Folk (Tang Dynasty and Orphaned Land). Also, did anyone else notice a lack of Devin Townsend or Strapping Young Lad? Now I'm listening to the Social Network Soundtrack Sampler. |

I was surprised by Sir Lord Baltimore, I think I have to check them out too. I've listened to Tang Dynasty's debut album "A Dream Return to Tang Dynasty", it's weird, but overall pretty good. I checked out the Unblack Metal bands, Horde and Antestor were pretty awesome. I'm currently listening to Enslaved album's "Ruun". On the title track now. |

The Human Abstract's new album just came out (I downloaded it today) and I've listened to "Antebellum" a few times today. It's actually not a bad album. It's got its ups and downs. But this song is pretty good in my opinion. |
