Didn't expect to get the 20 minute track on Wii. I'm sure there's some bullshit technical reason for it (perhaps the 40 meg limit that applies to WiiWare also applies to DLC? This would likely go over 40 megs), but it's still retarded.

I'll prolly wind up getting this, but I'll be a little disappointed that I can't play it all at once.

"Chalk it up to differences in how the Wii processes DLC. A 20 minute long song presents enough problems (file size, audio fidelity, etc), and trying to bundle Pro upgrades on top of that just wasn't possible."

This is why no 20 minute version for Wii.

Scroll to "Rock Band in 2012"

Rock Band will continue to have weekly DLC releases in 2012, starting with the artists we announced at our holiday livestream - Hall & Oates, Bush, & Men At Work.

Don't know who they are, but I have heard of them a few times.

How does one not know Hall & Oates, Bush (especially since they have two songs in GH), or Men at Work?

I think he was referring to Men at Work, since they were the only one that wasn't announced yet.

I envy the person who doesn't know Men at Work.

Men at Work is true. I'm gonna search them up on iTunes real quick. Hadn't heard of Hall & Oates until the stream, then I searched them up. Already knew a few Bush songs.

Edit: searched them up, listened to the first four choices, not impressed by any of them.

Another Guitar Hero title may be released before the 2012 holidays.

I'm not really excited for this at all, really. I've already fully reconverted to Rock Band and have lost all faith with the GH franchise. I'll probably end up getting it anyways, but I'm pretty apathetic at this point. Good news for those of you who still support GH.

Isn't something else supposed to be coming out at that time? Oh yeah...the Wii U! Hmm...

Used to be GH > RB for me, but I haven't played GH since RB3 came out. RB's catalogue is just too good.

I was buying all the GH games the day it came out. I probably won't do that unless there is some special offer again.

Wasn't this rumored way back when GH died? How is this still news?

Eh, I might get it for the PS3 when it releases, unless you can import the GH games for the Wii over to the Wii U.
