ThatAuthoringGroup just announced that they will be bringing several songs from Cynic's Carbon-Based Anatomy to the RBN. I believe there are several Cynic fans on this forum, so good news to them.

I miss-read the part about the wait on Bully with PS3. You can buy the pack and get Bully the day of, but if you want Bully as a single, you need to wait until the 10th. Confusing as how the pack is here when the single isn't? Yes, me and someone else argued about it a tad. And I don't entirely get it, but now you know.

(Not so) random prediction:

Nightwish are currently #9 on the Facebook app.
HMXHenry mentioned in the podcast around February that he was surprised to see Nightwish in the top 10, as he, nor his colleagues, had never heard of them before.
HMXHenry has also stated that they have started making DLC decisions based on the Facebook app.
A couple days ago HMXHenry stated that there are two female-fronted bands scheduled for the near future.

If "Pumped Up Kicks" is being released for Rocksmith next month, I figure it will mean one of two things. Either...
A) An extremely boring guitar chart and nothing else, or
B) They've finally decided to add bass functionality.

I would assume it's A, if it's B I may shit a goose.

I can understand that most people haven't heard of them, but you'd think a developer like Harmonix would. They kind of specialize in music-based games, so you would think SOMEONE there would have at least heard of the band.

Well, whatever. Not gonna hold my breath too much, especially for anything pre-Anette.

That was kinda my thought as well. Since your JOB is music, you should probably have a grasp on a band that's well-known enough worldwide.

Not a clue who Nightwish is, but if they visit RB, I'll certainly check out their songs. In terms of females in RB, I'd love to see Katy Perry and Avril Lavinge make it someday. More Evanescence would be appreciated as well.

Man, it hasn't been the early 2000's for about a decade now. She still exists?

It's not like her music has been stored away in a vault somewhere. People still listen to her old music, and, actually, she still makes music.

I haven't heard her music in a while, playing Burnout recently where Girlfriend is on the soundtrack reminded me of her. Wouldn't mind buying some of them if they pick the right songs.

They've finally decided to add bass functionality.

I don't see bass functionality coming any time soon for us seeing as how the EU version of Rocksmith will have it available on disc. I would guess we'll be seeing it some time in September to coincide with the release.

In short, more of A and none of B.

According to this tweet, Less Than Jake will be coming to RB soon. It has been confirmed elsewhere that it is the RBN, not Harmonix DLC.
