http://www.destructoid.com/these-are-all-of-the-songs-in-rock-band-4-310719.phtml There's not much I'd be excited to spend $60 on (the best song to me is a second or third-tier Paramore song, and blah), but that's kind of how I feel about buying music in general at this point. I don't think the genres that will make it into a game like this are going to be what gets me back into music, though. I have faith in Harmonix's curation. I don't have faith that I can get into much of this stuff at this point. |

Yay @ "The Wolf" by Mumford & Sons. Glad they picked that over something like "Believe" (which I like, but it's getting way overplayed). Anyways, setlist just looks like RB3 again for me: handful of cool songs and a couple that I'd really love to play, but nothing really to excite me for the game. To be fair though, I'd have to buy a new console and instruments to even play it, so that's a big turn off too. |

I'm feeling this more and more. I like a decent amount of songs, but not enough to pay $80. I wasn't prepared for the relatively small and lackluster setlist at that newly announced price (for Xbone). I'll probably wait a while until a decent amount of backwards-compatible songs are re-released and for the price to drop. |

New songs leaked as probable Xbox One digital pre-order bonus.
They will definitely be released as dlc for both systems at some point. Edited by Antunee, Sep 22 2015, 05:31 PM.

Those songs, the Amazon pre-order ones, and the PS4 pre-order ones should have been on-disc. There's so many good songs between them all, having them in the game itself would have raised the quality of the soundtrack a significant amount. Of course, me being the sucker I am, I'll probably buy all these songs anyways. I just think the game itself would have a better chance of being a hit if it had all of these songs on disc. For reference: Amazon pre-order songs: Alabama Shakes - "Don't Wanna Fight" Breaking Benjamin - "Failure" Death from Above 1979 - "Trainwreck 1979" The Pretty Reckless - "Follow Me Down" PS4 pre-order songs: All That Remains - "Divide" Blitz Kids - "Run for Cover" Bring Me the Horizon - "Throne" Dead Sara - "Mona Lisa" Duran Duran - "The Reflex" Janis Joplin and the Full Tilt Boogie Band - "Move Over" Of Mice & Men - "Would You Still Be There" Oh Honey - "Sugar, You" Pantera - Cowboys from Hell "(Live from Monsters in Moscow Festival)" Seasick Steve - "Summertime Boy" All of these songs will be released individually as DLC as well. |

Harmonix had a very tight budget. There's a reason a large chunk of the setlist is indie/Harmonix bands.

Yes, I know they had a tight budget, but apparently that budget allowed for 20+ additional songs that will be available on release for the pre-orders. I understand that the DLC option will net them some additional money on release, I'm just concerned that a weaker setlist will cause significantly less people to buy the game. I just don't want RB4 to fail, is all. |

Here's one last Rock Band 4 setlist addition, and it's a doozy. U2 Confirmed for Rock Band 4! They also said that there's gonna be more from them as DLC near launch. I need "Vertigo" in my life. |

I am feeling good about my pass on RB4 since the reviews are decent - good, but all of them pretty much agree that it's just more of the same... I am truly curious to see what GHL garners in terms of criticism or praise; early previews have critics loving it, but I can't wait to actually see. Pre-ordered my two guitar bundle last week, so I will be playing it up a lot when it launches in two weeks. |
