Nothing quite like announcing DLC for a game that hasn't even been released yet. |

Since Activision was so set on not telling anyone the full setlist, ever, we had to wait until Guitar Hero Live came out for people to find out what's on disc. Here's the full setlist. 44 songs. By my count, there's 11 songs that were released before 2010, only 3 before 2000. And I thought RB4 favored modern music. Quite a few that are questionable choices, too. "Bangarang" would make a good DLC song, but on-disc? |

Nah, that song's legit. It's still weird for it to be on-disc, though. Katy Perry, Skrillex, Rihanna, and Eminem aren't exactly good choices to have take up spots on your setlist. They'd be perfectly fine as DLC/GHTV, but it's a bit headscratching to have it be part of the game's main soundtrack. For a game trying to be the revival of the Guitar Hero series, none of these are really solid guitar songs (Well, Berzerk kinda is, but the guitar is sampled from "The Stroke", so it's kind of moot). |

Well, I guess I will find out later tonight when I get to play Guitar Hero for the first time in forever. I can't wait! Will definitely post impressions of it either tonight or tomorrow. |

I see "Feel So Close" by Calvin Harris, "Coming of Age" by Foster the People, and "San Francisco" by The Mowgli's missing from that list. Probably others missing too, but I'm too lazy to check. I remember seeing at least "Feel So Close" on the GH website, so I'm guessing it's getting added later. |

Those are GHTV songs, and aren't on disc. There's over 100 additional songs, but they exist in the cloud and can only be played in GHTV mode. |

Rock Band 3 export is confirmed to be coming. The current date is set at December 8th, and will cost $14.99. Super excited about this! The blog post doesn't mention this one way or the other, but the wording makes me think that all songs might be coming over. It also mentions that, once all exports and DLC is finally brought over, they will start looking into the possibilities of bringing RBN content back. That's awesome, since many of my favorites were RBN songs. Also, RB3 will officially be taken off the market on October 30th. Not that I think that there's someone here who doesn't have it, just thought I'd mention it. |
