Wasn't that released a few years ago, or are they releasing another one? |

oh u
...Or Nowi. I refuse to post a pic of something that fanservice-y. Go Google it.
They remade it from the ground up. But yes, it was originally released a few years ago, bombed, and has been remade. |

Speaking of FF14, someone from Squeenix recreated the opening scene from FF6 in FF14 to show off the Magitek Armor that was announced for the game. http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/blog/post/275 I'd buy the shit out of a FF6 remake. Outside of the unfortunately dated battle system, it's got such an awesome story and characters, and watching them recreate that world with current graphics and a modern Final Fantasy battle system... Dayum. Dat theme song. I'm not expecting one any time soon, though. But still, if any kind of FF7 remake does well (which it would), I think FF6 would have a chance. |

no-one has to die Free browser game, takes maybe half an hour to complete. Basically, there's four people in a building on fire, and you can save some of them as they try to escape, but not all of them. However, there's actually a pretty cool story that goes along with it. If you want to actually complete the game and get the full story, you'll have to go through the levels again saving different people until you've saved them all individually. The gameplay is pretty simple, but I do think the story was more important. |

Finished up SMT: Nocturne. Got the True Demon Ending without a bunch of extra grinding, which surprised me. It adds a "true" final boss and like three minutes of extra scenes, none of which are as awesome as the plot would have you think. Not really worth it as an ending unless you're one of those who has to get every ending or something. But yeah, I didn't think it was all that great. I kinda sorta dropped it to start another FEA file, which should be telling. The tl;dr gist would be: -The dungeons are boring and uninspiring. Only the final story dungeon and parts of the entirely optional dungeon were really any fun to me. I *guess* you could say Kabukicho Prison was interesting, but even that was a smaller, duller version of the Stone Temple from Majora's Mask. Other dungeons had some good ideas, but didn't make much use of them. -The story and characters are turrible. Well, the story is mostly bad because the characters are bad. In a game about world-building and the people behind it, it's probably a good idea to have characters with understandable/developed philosophies, as opposed to cardboard. -A bad Shoji Meguro soundtrack. I didn't know this was possible, but outside of a few songs, most of which are towards the end, the music is just... blah. -Gameplay is good, but I think it'd take a special brand of incompetence to fuck up the SMT mechanics. Not a very hard game, though this might be because it wasn't my first SMT. (It was the first one released in the West, which probably explains its rep for being "omg so hard".) I'd say I got my $20 out of it, but I won't be coming back to it any time soon, nor will I be recommending it to anyone who isn't already an SMT fan. FF7 next. It'll be overrated because I'd expect perfection of something praised this much, and nothing is perfect. Even so, looking forward to trying it for myself. |

Skyrim. I've come to the conclusion that I pretty much just suck at it. Having a ton of fun with it though. 16 hours in and I'm still only a Level 7. |

I don't think you could suck more than I did. After playing for months I was still only at level 40-something. Meh, as long as you're having fun who cares! |

WEll, the highest level I've ever gotten to is 35 or something like that after about 17 months. Then again I've probably made at least 10 different characters. |

I downloaded the free 3rd person shooter "Warframe" about a week ago and I finally tried it out today. It's a pretty fun co-op game. I'm not really sure what the game is about, but it has guns, explosions and ninja aliens. |

A friend got me to play that about a month ago, it was pretty cool. We should all try to get together on it sometime. Then again I keep saying that for SC2 too and I'm never on at the same time as both you and Outlaw :P. |

Just did some 1v1 practice matches in SCII. I'm feeling good about my play. I've got the simple early game timing down pretty well, and I haven't screwed up too badly. I might even go on the ladder later on, haha. I don't know how or why, but not playing for ~1.5 years has really improved my play. It could of course also be the fact that I watch a lot of StarCraft, although most of it is low level play (LAGTV, baby!). |

Had some fun playing StarCraft II with Outlaw tonight, although we sucked bad on the ladder it was fun. And I won against him in a 1v1 as Terran (Protoss is where its at), but I won with marines and Cattlebruisers which was thoroughly enjoyable. |
