Star Trek (the 2009 remake)

Not bad, but I thought Chris Pine could have done better as Kirk. He could have made it just a bit more like William Shatner imo.
Zachary Quinto was excellent as young Spock. The Leonard Nimoy cameo as older Spock was a nice touch too. All in all, not bad for a remake.

Technically, it wasn't a remake iirc. It was an alternate reality.

Relevant picture.

Anyways, watched Freedom Writers the other day. I will admit, I cried manly tears.

50 First Dates.

nice little movie. Adam Sandler is always great. Not sure what else to say. I can't imagine anyone who would ever do all that work for a woman who will forget it every single day. Same with the parents that repaint the garage, have hundreds of newspapers, buy tons of pineapples just for a big lie.

Adam Sandler is always great.

This is excusable if you've never seen an Adam Sandler movie.

Are you alive? Weird. I was under the assumption that everyone who watches that movie dies from its epicness.

Yeah, but all of his directed movies are amazing, his starred....not so much. I'm sorry the man can't act. As much as I love that movie (and I mean looooove), his performance is atrocious. He just talks in the same tone the whole movie.

But it fits. It's the character. Clint doesn't have big range, but he makes good use of the things he CAN do.

For most parts, yes, which is why hes a good director, he gives him roles that he can handle, but at certain parts it just didn't fit, especially when he sung the song at the end. I mean really Clint? Do you think you can sing?

Still thats got to be one of my favorite movies, definetly in the top twenty.
