This.

A friend of mine told me I had to go see it. It heavily exceeded my expectations. It has some of the best special effects and 3D of any movie I've ever seen. And the constant (awesome) action and slight humor made it a lot of fun to watch. The 2:20 hours went by pretty fast.

Just watched "Iron Sky". This is the worst movie I've watched in a while. I do not recommend this movie at all, unless you have a fetish for Space-Nazis from the Moon.

The movie was decent and definitely watchable, but it was never interesting and never really sucked me in. The concept was interesting and it sounded pretty cool, but it was a meh-fest. 4/10

Yesterday however, I watched on the best movies I've watched in a long time. "Pan's Labyrinth". It's a Spanish drama/fantasy movie set in the 40s. It was a very interesting and quite strange movie, but it was something different. I definitely recommend this movie if you want to watch something different. It's probably not for everyone, but probably worth a shot. 9/10

Felt like rating shit today.

Forgot to post this, but I watched Being John Malkovich on Friday. On of the strangest ideas I've ever heard for a movie. The movie itself wasn't much better on the crazy. It had John Cusack, Cameron Diaz who I didn't even recognize for about half the film, and obviously John Malkovich. It was so awesome, and incredibly strange. I give it a 9/10.

I watched the original Arthur the other night with my parents. I didn't see the new one, but I can't imagine Russell Brand being even a quarter of this funny. Dudley Moore (who plays Arthur) reminds me of the original Willy Wonka for some reason... Anyway, the jokes were good, the acting was good, the butler was amazing, and Liza Minnelli was actually young at some point? I wouldn't say a "family" film unless you don't mind children watching a drunk playboy billionaire...so basically Batman with less Batman-y things. 9/10

Saw Snow White and Battleship. Both were pretty good, not amazing, but pretty good. Snow White was definitely the better movie, and it seems Chris Hemsworth is about to be the next big thing in acting ever since Thor.

On a side note, I get so tired of hearing Kristen Stewart is a bad actress. Yes, Twilight is a cheesy love triangle vampire movie that is extremely shallow. But one role does not define an actress. Her performance in both Snow White and Adventureland were good, and her portrayal of Joan Jett in The Runaways was excellent.

Yeah, I don't think K-Stew is as bad as everyone says. The thing isn't the acting, it's the character. Bella Swan has an awful, awful personality. Not that she's a great actress, and she definitely doesn't nail the character, but even if she did, it would still be hard to watch.

Also, Paal gets a rainstorm of puppies and strippers for watching Pan's Labyrinth.

Male actor (not actress), but...

Also, just watched Captain America. I know. So slow, etc. I liked it, but now I want to see The Avengers again.

I saw all of those before the Avengers except Captain America. I wanted to watch CA first, but I didn't.

It's obviously not come out yet, but since I know a ton of us will be seeing it:

Same thing could have been said for Inception.

Doc Hollywood - As I was watching this movie I just kept going "CAAAAAARRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSS". What I'm getting at is, Cars is Doc Hollywood with...well, cars. Basically, Michael J Fox is a surgeon who is heading to LA for a job, gets stuck in the middle of nowhere South Carolina, breaks the town judge's fence and is forced to stay there for a while, since they need a doctor. He initially wants to leave, meets a girl, blah blah blah, basically Cars. Although this was first, and Fox makes it awesomer. 8.5/10

RoboCop - I didn't expect so much gore. I think the version I watched was the original X-rated version because HOLY SHIT there was more blood and people's body parts being ripped apart than Mortal Kombat. It's kinda cheesy, but in the really good 80s-action-movie way. 8.5/10

^ I'm probably seeing Prometheus tomorrow. From what I heard, it's good if you don't expect it to be Alien.
