I have never even redeemed codes to get coins.
Posters, small trinkets and stuff like that doesn't interest me. I'm indifferent about it being shut down. I'd much rather have a cool official merch store with shirts, posters, stuff like that.

Sid Meier's Starships sounds a bit interesting, though.

Four posts in a row is enough.

Oh, lol. Well, you know what I mean.
A Nintendo merch store wouldn't be complete without posters, although I personally don't really care for them, I am sure plenty others do.

Holy mother of drama, APEX is exploding. The guy in charge has apparently sexually harassed like a million people and is generally just a complete and utter bellend. This is the first Smash tourney Nintendo have sponsored and everything's generally in a really volatile state. If you wanna get caught up, here's a few links:

At the time of my post there had been no announcement but that's good to hear. I believe Nintendo will still stay in it so there shouldn't be any more drama after this... hopefully.

ESO ditches mandatory subscription model

This is pretty cool (and something we all saw coming from a mile away). They're still keeping subscription for some premium version that includes DLCs and stuff (sounds similar to Battlefield's premium service, i.e. shit).

I don't know what ESO is like at this point, but if it has been greatly improved from it's launch state and plays well without others and is available for $10-20 I kind of want to give it a go. I'm not sure how MMO-y the game is, though. If there's a lot of grinding and other insanely boring gameplay elements, I'm absolutely out.

Thoughts from you guys?

Pretty much the only way I would play it. I think the subscription model has gone by the wayside at this point, with the one major exception. That said, I said the same thing about The Old Republic, and I have yet to bother with that, too.

fukkin hax

But yeah, if you saw the AGDQ shit, you know what to expect. If you didn't, it's total insanity.

Also ESO going F2P is no surprise at all. Pretty much every MMORPG does eventually. I figure I'll probably try it if I can snap up a copy for $15-20. I don't really expect all that much from it, though; not sure I care much for the genre to start with.

MMOs are genes that seem like they could be amazing, but so far they've mostly been lackluster. Very few very well and often they're so minimal on actual stuff to do.

I've watched people play pathfinder online though and it does seem pretty good. It's WoW type controls, aka third n action, and from what I gather you can create your own campaigns. If not, then at the least these are the directions they need to be heading towards. I just feel mmos still haven't gotten to the point with standard technology being able to create something truly worthwhile yet, but maybe we'll see by the end of this generation. I'm not sure about other internet companies, but the one I have just double their spend for their recommended and premium tiers, so that could perhaps give us something better to work with

After doing some googling is seems a lot of the story is mostly stuff that you do on your own.
If they introduce some pseudo-offline mode I'd be pretty interested.

BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY

If you're here for P5 only (don't blame you), I'd probably watch only the mystery stuff. But I'm a sucker and will probably watch a fair bit of this. If the P3 movies are actually the P3 movies those should be a good watch, too. Persona soundtracks are great, so def watching the Persona Sound stuff... yeah.

Night one of the Persona stream:

You missed nothing of importance. Some PQ and P4AU character trailers were shown, nothing we haven't seen before. Idk what was shown during the P4G block other than a top ten of P4G characters. I'd guess P4G character trailers too but who cares. I slept during this to get *some* sleep.

The top 25 Persona tracks was a pretty cool event. The only issues I have with the list are that it lacked Laser Beam and either version of Light the Fire Up in the Night. Other than that it was a great list. Memories of You was the top song; anyone who has finished P3 knows why.

Also showed summaries of the first two P3 movies, which was nice. I wish they included subs but whatever. I know what happens when in P3 so it's not a huge deal.

The first mystery event was P4: Dancing All Night. They played a new song which was pretty hype and showed most of the P4 cast. Yukiko and Naoto were conspicuously absent though. There was supposed to be a second event but of course Atlus trolled us with a 55:55:55 countdown that immediately reverted to 12:30:00. I don't expect anything further until later tonight, but some people think they might show something in a little bit. *shrug*

Night two:

I slept through most of it, expecting solely rebroadcasts. For the most part I was right, but we got some Persona 4: Dancing All Night news.

There was also apparently a concert that wasn't on the schedule, which I would have liked to see. EDIT: X stream is tomorrow at 7 am CST. Idk I thought it was today for some reason. Whatever.

But what you really came for:
