That's awesome Snow, I'm pretty hyped for season two to start tomorrow. OitNB had been a very interesting show so far with a pretty different setting and great characters.
What did you think of season one?

I really liked season one. The only thing I really don't like is the Daya/Bennett/Pornstache thing. I just feel like that wouldn't actually happen, but I dunno. Other than that, I've enjoyed it a lot. I've ended up liking almost everyone, except Pennsatucky. I really like that all the episodes have flashbacks to before they were all arrested, too. It's nice to see how they all got there, but sad because most of them seem like decent people.

I know, right? It really helps the viewer get a deeper understanding of those who are in jail, and it's done in a really tasteful way.
And I somewhat agree, the whole Daya/Bennet thing is a bit whatever.

After deciding to start watching orphan black a free nights ago my fiance and I ended up watching the whole first season in that night, were now either looking for a way to watch the first few episodes of season 2 or waiting until we get the money for the season pass

I just discovered Arrested Westeros, a Tumblr that takes still images from GoT and gives them captions that are quotes from Arrested Development. Fun times. Obviously, spoilers for both shows.

While still slowly making my way through Justice League Unlimited and Rectify (which is slower than Mad Men but still incredible), I rediscovered my love for Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law. It's great, and nearly all the characters are from classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons. Also it features Stephen Colbert.

Silicon Valley (season 1) -- This is the first HBO comedy I've seen, and I think it's very funny. It's about a buncha programmers and their startup. Most of the humor comes form nerd-related stuff that's not really specific to programming, so I think people here would find it funny. Using "nerd" and "humor" in the same sentence might make people think of The Big Bang Theory, but I assure you, it's not like that. It does use nerd stereotypes, of course, but in funny ways, in my opinion.
Game of Thrones (season 4) -- I don't think I've read about the show without the word "spoiler" coming up, so:
Game of Thrones season 4 I'd say the previous seasons were probably more "exciting", but I like the arrangement of characters in this season, especially Arya and Sandor. I wouldn't say I've always liked Sandor, but like Jaime, he seemed like someone who was set up as a terrible person in the first book/season and then turns out relatively okay even though he's still killed a lot of people. I don't know why people were upset about the lack of Lady Stoneheart in the finale, though. I felt like the finale already had a buncha stuff in it and introducing her would've taken too much time.
Orphan Black (season 2) -- Gonna talk about a couple BIG TWISTS here, so:
Orphan Black season 2 ALRIGHT. First, Helena is lovely and I'm so glad she's not dead. I really like her relationship with Sarah now. Also, seestra brother. Glad he's not part of the male clone line. That just wouldn't have felt right. My second guess would've been Paul, even though he was a monitor. The internet said it would've liked to see Art be one of the clones, and then one of them becomes romantically involved with Felix. That would've been funny, but anyway, Mark is the only choice that makes sense to be part of the male clones. At first I didn't like the idea of the male clones, because Tatiana Maslany is da best, but since the male clones are all associated with the military, they might have had similar personalities drilled into them, so they might not have to be that different from each other. I dunno. Overall, I liked season 1 more because it felt tighter, but season 2 gave Helena, Vic, and Donnie some more depth, so I liked that. And Michelle Forbes! She's cool. Unfortunately, this gave us less Cosima. However, the first season definitely focused on Sarah the most, while season 2 gave a good chunk of time to Alison. Maybe season 3 will do that for Cosima instead, now that Alison and Donnie seem to be pretty stable now. WHO KNOWS? I'm excited for season 3.

Response Because that's how book 3 ENDS?
I like a box of rocks more than Catelyn, but the epilogue of A Storm of Swords is literally the introduction of Lady Stoneheart. Instead of stuff from book 5 (see: Bran and company), we could have had Lady Stoneheart instead. That said, I'm not very upset because it's Catelyn and her role since being revived has been almost non-existent.
Granted, I'm a purist and I hate the direction this adaptation takes at times. Then again, sometimes it's really fucking good, so I dunno.
Part of me wants to un-spoiler this, because people who bitch about spoilers are fucking annoying and nothing gives me more joy than annoying them. But then I have to hear about it, and that gives me no joy.

season 4 spoilers yo I agree with you on that the direction it goes is kinda weird at times. and sometimes it isn't good. for instance, the ENTIRE scene at the end of the last episode of season 4. Jaime and Tyrion had a super brotherly love heartfelt goodbye when in reality, it is entirely different from the book. Tyrion, if I recall correctly, tells Jaime at that goodbye that if he ever sees Cersei, Tywin, or Jaime again, he'll kill them. and it wasn't all about Shae, the stupid bitch. It was about Tysha and gaining closure on that. its just TOO different imo. the omission of "wherever whores go" piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissed me off. man, that was such a great line. fuck the writers for that one. but at the same time, scene was powerful and still very well done.

Response I understand why they didn't include the scene. They would not only have to recontract Michelle Fairley just for that one scene, but also the entire rest of the Brotherhood Without Banners not to mention reintroducing all of those characters. Plus, Lady Stoneheart doesn't even show up again til late in book 4, so it would feel kinda dumb to introduce something here and then ignore it for an entire season. It would work best for them to introduce her next season (maybe as part of the cold open?).
Also, I'm for the most part okay with how they've changed things. I honestly kinda hate when people go "IT WASN'T LIKE THAT IN THE BOOKS" because really, it doesn't matter most of the time. I wish they had brought up Tysha again as motivation, but really, the scene still worked. The only changes I've really been angry about are stuff like making the Jaime/Cersei scene in the beginning of the season look a lot like rape (same with Dany and Drogo in season 1) and how they've treated some characters (like giving Stannis EVEN LESS of a personality and really making him seem like a villain). But that's it really.

Watched a bit of Axe Cop last night. It's funny in that it's like a child's playtime come to life, terms like "turned his good guy machine into a bad guy machine" and "I killed 7,000 bad guys last night", but it's not quotable or anything, just something funny to watch.

It wasn't as good as the ones before it, but still enjoyable. Season 6 was pretty bad. Not sure if it's quite "shit," but boring as hell and there were very few redeeming qualities. Season 8 was the one I called shit, and probably a few other things.
