The Big Bang Theory annoys me because I can understand what they're saying when they go all nerdtastic, and I'm not postgrad-level. The whole show is a portrait of moderately smart people portrayed as amusing super smart people to amuse not very smart people.

That's how I always see it at least. Obviously I'm not stating opinion as fact.

The characters were the appeal for me. Not particularly the ''nerdtastic'' moments. You can only do this ''geeky'' shtick for so long, so they focused more on the relationships, and I don't think they execute it very well.

Another annoying thing is that it spawns more fangirls who buy Batman caps and Green Lantern shirts and go ''LOL I'M SO GEEKY''

I saw The Help over spring break. It was pretty girl. Some of it was chick flickish, but I didn't mind it too much. Overall, it was a solid movie. Almost made me cry dem not-so-manly tears at one point.

Last night, I dreamt that I watched the last episode of "Chuck", and in the dream I cried like I cried through the last 30 minutes of "Marley and Me".

I just saw the last episode of "Chuck", I didn't cry, but I sure did tear up.
It's a little strange that I've finished the show now. I remember when I first discovered it on TV, I was just amazed by how awesome the was, and shortly after I downloaded it. I simply loved it. It will always be a show I have fond memories of, and almost every episode made me laugh, get excited and filled with joy. I guess it feels a little empty without "Chuck".

Hmm... watched a few more episodes of Star Trek -- I guess I'll just watch a few episodes of it here and there, not really a show that needs any commitment -- and the two-part three-hour 2003 Battlestar Galactica miniseries. It was really, really good. I will have to watch the main series now.

I need to watch this show. It looked like something that would amuse me.

I definitely recommend checking it out. Seasons 1-3 are the shit. Season 4 and 5 aren't the best ever, but they're fine.

Also, has anyone watched Deadwood? A friend told me about it, sounds interesting.

I've only heard good things about it, but I hate westerns, so I won't watch it.

Just watched The Godfather for the first time. And, well, it's an amazing movie. But also a long one. And apparently part two is about twenty minutes longer. But other than that, no complaints.

Just watched the first episode of Avatar: The Legend of Korra. The new series looks pretty good (I hope they start airing it on Nick though).
