I have been watching  The IT Crowd on netflix streaming.. it's hilarious! Although sadly the entire series is only 24 episodes. Great stuff, though!

Indeed! It's probably my all time favourite sitcom or at least close to it. I got pretty bummed when I figured out season 4 was the end :/

Been watching some more Star Trek now that I've finished BSG. Once I finish the first season, I think I'm going to watch Caprica pretty quickly. It's a prequel series to BSG, so I want to watch it with BSG still fresh in my mind, but I also wanted to watch more Trek so yeah. :P

Okay, so I finished Veronica Mars and through the sixth season of Supernatural, as well as season four of Breaking Bad. BUCKETS OF HATE:

Veronica Mars is one of my favorite shows of all time, due to an awesome cast and characters, as well as being realistic. It's a detective show at heart, but the characters actually make mistakes, unlike every other mystery TV show where everybody is perfect and never wrong. It's also a Breakfast Club-like social commentary on public high school, but more so with financial status than social standing, which is a bit more obscure and hard to relate to. The main downfall with it is that, being a UPN and then CW show, it occasionally gets to be too dramatic or sappy, but episodes hardly seem bogged down by it. UNTIL THE THIRD SEASON. I hate you, CW. The third season is an orgy of weirdness. The characters slowly become more flawed, the plots lazier, and for some reason there's a long story arc about a serial rapist that isn't taken very seriously. The season gets back to better at the end, especially the last episode, but it was a pretty disappointing final season.

6/7 of Supernatural-I really liked this show at the beginning. First three seasons are sweet. "No Rest For the Wicked" is a great episode. But then season four comes out, and it's not actually the season that's bad, but the new theme the show went with. I never liked the holy war thing, and that seems to be the new premise. Ergh. It wasn't even that bad until season 6. What the fuck, season 6? Not only does it drag the religious thing way past its welcome, but it starts just running out of ideas. And then it goes character assassin on EVERY MAIN CHARACTER. Essentially none of them are completely likable anymore. CURSE YOU, CW.

Season four of Breaking Bad-I was angry at season three of Veronica Mars for being the worst season and ruining characters and season 6 of Supernatural for the same things. Ironically, season four of Breaking Bad does the EXACT SAME THINGS, BUT LIKE 100 TIMES WORSE. There are legitimately four good episodes in the 13-episode season, and all of them have moments of, "Why is this happening? Stop." I simply don't like Walt anymore. He is not a likable character. I understand that he's becoming complex and deluded, but he's also fucking psychotic. This show was practically in a tie for my favorite TV show, but not anymore. I genuinely hope that the fifth season isn't as jacked up.

Watched season one of Alphas. I loved the first episode, most of the ones after were good except for one or two that were just ehh, and then the last two of the season were really good again. In my opinion. I'd give the show an overall 8/10 so far, I think. The show is about people with enhanced brains that don't really give them superpowers, but they have special abilities. It's not like flying around with lasers coming out of their eyes, though. Anyways, I feel like as the season went on, they were using their abilities less and less. That didn't ruin the show for me. I like the characters and their interactions with each other, too. Anyways, the series seems like it's starting to build up to a bigger plot, which I like. Hopefully it does, because I kept expecting it to a few times earlier, and it wasn't. But it kinda has to now based on the season finale.

People always seem to direct anger towards me whenever I say season 4 of Breaking Bad may have been the weakest of them all (about the same as season 3). Like season 3, hardly anything happened at all until halfway through. Walt becoming turning more and more unlikable is what they're going for though. You're not supposed to like him or root for him. And that aspect of the show doesn't let up any in season 5. It is, however, a really exciting season and stuff happens in pretty much every episode. If it keeps it up for tonight's semi-finale and then the second half whenever that airs, I think it could wind up being the best of them all. The first episode was the only one that I felt was not good. But if you're looking for Walt to become likable again, you'll be pretty disappointed. He's not turning back.

I don't even care if he's likable, as long as he's understandable. It's not him being dark that I don't like. It's things like the weird maniacal laughter when he couldn't hire the specialist that I don't like. I get the Heisenberg vs. Mr. White thing, and I like the better executed methods of showing it, like the danger speech and Skyler's temporary leave, but sometimes it derails from being sensical.

I felt it was a bit wierd all throughout season 4 cuz he was acting all fucking crazy and wierd and you didn't understand why, but season 5 helps you understand a whole lot about why he is acting the way he is. Season 5 is my personal favorite so far. can't wait til the second half of it to air

I've been watching loads of "Weeds" and "That 70's Show".

I finished up season 3 of Weeds today. Man that show is great!
I have to admit, for the first season I was a little skeptical because, well...it's a pretty strange shows. But that's what I've come to love about the show. There are no taboos in it. Children smoking pot, sex, full on frontal nudity, toe sex, more drugs and funny shit. I guess it''s a refreshing change of pace.

Alphas -- Just about caught up. I've recorded the last two new episodes, so right now they're just at the TV waiting for me to watch them. I'm interested to see where the story goes from here since some stuff's been happening that could lead to some pretty big stuff.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles -- Only watched the first two episodes so far. After these two episodes, it's good, but not "I can't wait to find out what happens next!" good. The pilot had an ending leaving me wanting to watch more, but the second episode was mostly character type things, in my opinion. Also, it was cool to see a guest actor from Stargate in the second episode. Aaanyways, expecting some more story development starting in the next ep. Second one had story of course, but it did seem like it was there mainly to give the characters some more detail.

Okay. So I think this is my watch layout for the next like three months:

1. Season 7 of Supernatural because it comes back next week
2. Series 2 of Sherlock because I like Sherlock and it's short
3. All of Luther because I'm excited about it for reasons I'm not sure of
4. Season 4 of Breaking Bad if I have the whole season ready on DVR yet
5. Seasons 3 and 4 of Battlestar Galactica because it makes sense to finish it, but isn't urgent
6. All of Arrested Development because I realized I haven't actually seen it all the way through
7. The one season of Terriers because I heard it was good

Also throw in season 2 of The Walking Dead whenever Netflix gets it online.

I think since my last post all I've seen is the first series of Sherlock and the first two seasons of Battlestar Galactica.

Sherlock is super badass and a good modernization of the famous saga. I'll definitely rank it higher than the movies (they're not related at all), and probably as one of my favorite shows ever, although it is just a recurring BBC miniseries, so it's hard to consider a TV show when it's so much shorter.

Battlestar Galactica, for me, is comparable to a song that is good, but not catchy. I'm fully satisfied with every episode I watch, but I don't eagerly await the next episode like I typically do with some of my favorite series. I think it's main problem is with having too many characters, and throwing them all over the place. There are times when a character will suddenly be entirely missing from an episode when they stopped in the middle of something important in the previous episode. I do enjoy how they use sci-fi conventions to fuel drama though.
For the record, I completely hated the miniseries that led up to the series. I almost stopped watching it. But the actual show is much better.
Also,
Fuck you, Dee. Billy was my favorite character. He would still be alive if you hadn't been cheating on him.
^ I need to watch Sherlock, too... And BrBa, and Supernatural, and Arrested Development. I've been following TWD since the middle of season 2 so I'm good on that. As for BSG, yay!
I think you meant "Frak" in the beginning there. But yeah, I liked Billy, too. As for Dee... I don't know. There are times when I liked her, and times when I didn't.
Oh, also:
If Billy hadn't died, he could've helped Roslin win the election (namely by not cheating), and then Gaius wouldn't have become a drug addicted sex machine president who ruins everything ever.
Well, because then you can't have nude Daenerys Targaryen in every scene. Which is how it should be, but those assholes didn't do this once in season two. ;_;

What's killing me is waiting for season 2 to come out on dvd/bluray. I'm on book 3 now, and I wanted to see season 2 right after I finished the book. From what I hear, it won't be coming out until March ;_;
