Sexual Orientation: Not Picky

Oh also, if you want some quality art and don't mind reading a comic full of sex and kink and whatnot, may I suggest Sunstone? It's a female-on-female BDSM (real BDSM, not that 50 shades of abuse shit) romantic comedy, so it's pretty adult, pretty NSFW. It's also pretty amazing. It was originally released on deviantART, so you can actually check it out for free right here. Another that I've only read the first volume of (or chapter as they're called on dA), but it's definitely one I want to check out more.

I don't really think that's my thing. I generally don't care much for sex in entertainment.

The art looks pretty cool, though :P

It's big when you remove the /revision/ crap at the end like this.

I can't say no to queer-positive, kink-positive sex. Especially in that amazing art. =p

Weird, it was over 1000x3000 when I posted, now it's tiny. Lame.

Review of season 2 of The Flash: The CW's Barry Allen is the stupidest, most irresponsible superhero character that I know of.

UPDATE: I have now seen the finales of the other two superhero shows I watch. There were a lot of similarities between SHIELD and Arrow/Flash.

Similarities between SHIELD s3 and Arrow s4 finales:
-- Nukes
-- Stopping the nukes by sending them into space (spoiler alert they don't nuke the world)
-- Villain wants to destroy humanity and build a new world that knows only peace
-- Villain has chemically brainwashed minions

Similarities between SHIELD s3 and The Flash s2 finales:
-- Main superpowered character gets locked up in superhero-proof container by their friends because character is emotional and vengeance cannot stop the villain
-- Superpowered character makes bad decisions at the end
-- Villain has experience conquering planets
-- Someone saw the future

Okay in hindsight I guess those lists are pretty short but when you watch them all in pretty close succession and the same things keep popping up, it feels significant.

Havent had money to get comics since mid April or so, so when I finally was able to get to the comic shop, I ended up dropping a total of $70, which I can honestly say I dont regret. Got a ton of other comic related stuff to talk about later when I get some more time

Captain America Civil War

Ms. Marvel (until the latest issue #7?)
I thought making Kamala an Avenger might ruin her series, but it hasn't dropped in quality. It actually has added plenty of new ways to tell her story. The recent arc that finished up was great. It was so damn goofy and bizarre and finale was nice. The issue after that was pretty awesome too. Almost no super heroics, but it was cool and nice to see Miles show up. Once again though, making her an Avenger is working out fine. It gives her even more exposure and it's awesome seeing her dreams come true. Can't wait until we get a movie from her, which I assume will eventually happen since she outsells Captain Marvel every month.

Congrats to Black Panther for being the #1 selling comic of 2016. If anyone wants to get into a ongoing series, this would be the one to get into. It's only on issue 2 and I've heard it's great. I'm about halfway through the first book and will probably finish up this week on both of them.

Here's my current pull list:
Ms. Marvel
Black Panther
Dr. Strange
Captain Marvel
Astonishing Ant-man
Spider-man/Deadpool
All-Star Batman (starting in August)

Just got rid of Amazing Spider-man, Deadpool, and Star Wars. The first two because they're bi-monthly and I'm already getting Spider-man/Deadpool and Star Wars because it was the most expendable atm, because I'm really enjoying the rest. Also just finished getting the remainder of the Batman/Teenager Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover. Read the first 3 or 4 so far and it's been pretty awesome.

Literally not caught up on any comic show outside of Netflix Marvel series. Luckily AoS comes to Netflix in June and I own the last episode of Agent Carter that I still haven't finished watching. I wish CW would bring their shows to Netflix quicker than they do, it makes it hard to get into their shows when they add the previous season to Netflix the same day the new season premieres, I'm not trying to cram in 30 episodes per show in 5 weeks. Sadly I heard season 4 of Arrow was another disappointment. I want to see if I can get more into Flash season 2 as I wasn't the biggest fan of season 1, the drama just fell flat to me. I want to give Supergirl and watch and iZombie is great and I really need to get caught up.

I've heard mixed things about Apocalypse. Definitely haven't heard anything great about it, but it's not all doom and gloom. I normally don't enjoy these movies on repeats though, so that doesn't sound too well for me. What should've been one of the best years for Superhero movies is looking to just be ok. I mean there was so much uncharted territory this year and only Deadpool and Civil War really have done good so far. Hopefully Suicide Squad and Doctor Strange knock it out of the park, but I'm worried about both of those even if their trailers have looked pretty great. Too many variables where they could go wrong. I'll definitely be at Dr Strange opening night either way as I've been waiting years for it and I'll probably see Suicide Squad so long as it doesn't get shitted on. Haven't decided on if I'm going to see Apocalypse yet, I'm tight on money atm and the mediocre reviews aren't selling me.
