Well, work on the comic is going well. LAD is almost finished on the other main character. Im currently on issue 4. I'll hopefully have the first arc done once LAD starts working on the first comic and hopefully everything will start rolling from there.

So I've been getting Marvel Collectors Corps and it's pretty cool and worth the money. It's $25 every two months and each box comes with a tshirt, comic book, pin, patch, and at least two funko figures. Both of the tshirts have been awesome so far even if the antman one was plain, the plainness makes the shirt. The Pop figures have been awesome and the other funko figures have been cool. Im thinking about making a jacket with all my patches I get, would be cool to wear with the tshirts. As for the comics, i mean it's kinda cool, but at the same time i can't see myself getting into a new comic every two months, luckily though if they come out with a Shield one i already collect that, just like i already collect Antman, so it should work out. Overall pretty good for the money considering i tend to buy these types of tshirts and i collect pop figures

Friendo is done. CAL's original description:
CALJR_8760

Her friend is about 5'8. She's kinda skinny, but not like model thin. Pale skin, red hair, freckles. Stylish, she's in school for it and makes her own cosplay. Face kinda long, i guess, but I'm not to picky on her, we'll just have to work together on finding something right. Her personality is quirky and humorous

He also gave more details over Skype, but I cba to dig through messages to find that. Didn't do much sketching on her compared to the MC. Luckily, CAL liked what I had anyways. =p

Face Sketches

The first face was just sketching random lines which I thought looked terrible. The other two I based off of references from Google. Obviously, the one CAL liked is the one completely colored.

Full Body Sketch

This was the original body sketch I made for the MC, simply recycled for this character. She was given different clothes though. Fun fact: I picked a long-sleeve shirt, because I hated how her arms looked and didn't want them to be seen.

Finished Image

And there ya go, all finished.

I honestly hope in the MCU they don't kill off Peter like in Ultimate Spiderman I'd much rather see Mayday. Although I'm ok with Miles, i just would rather see Peter retire once he hecomes a parent, Miles take over, then Mayday

Probably won't happen since it seems to be Marvel's prime directive to make sure Peter never leads a decent life.

Which upsets me so much. That's why renew your vows has interested me, even though it's not really him having a good life

Fiiiiiiiinally finished season three of Arrow and season one of The Flash. I kinda stopped following them because I was having trouble getting into Flash (felt sooooo sloooow, ironically) and Arrow just didn't seem all that interesting at the point I fell off at. But it's summer, so I caught up. Honestly, Arrow was a bit underwhelming. I mean, yeah, there's a lot going on and a lot of cool characters, but it just started to feel stale. Luckily the Flash got more interesting for me. And THAT FINALE. Beautiful. Definitely looking forward to season 2 of the Flash. Season 4 of Arrow... will be interesting to see. I just don't know what they're going to do. And then there's Legends of Tomorrow, which is going to be the most special effects-heavy thing ever and I'll watch it because 1.) shiny; 2.) these shows seem to rely on crossovers more than any other franchise I've seen, so I don't wanna be left out in the cold (TRIPLE ENTENDRE because 1.) idiomatic meaning; 2.) Captain Cold; 3.) I sometimes identify as a snowman).

I fell into the same boat with Season 3 of Arrow and Flash. I'm gonna give Flash a go once I get the chance. Not sure how I feel about trying to dedicate time to Season 3 of Arrow with all the stuff I've heard about it, might wait until it's on Netflix.

I'm torn on Legends of Tomorrow. On one hand there's a couple of really great actors on the show, on the other hand it seems a bit too cheesy in the bad way and the special effects of the first trailer looks very poor, although I hope that's fixed by the time it releases.

I'm actually worried about DC's state of shows at this point now. I mean, last year I was excited with how great Arrow was and the prospects of Constantine and Flash, but now it seems the only good thing they have at the moment is Flash unless Arrow pulls itself back up. Legends of Tomorrow has promise, but Gotham is very meh, Supergirl's pilot apparently is bad, Constantine is cancelled, and Krypton sounds too similar to Gotham. Titans has the best potential, but who knows when that will air.

So, the BvS trailer looked kinda cool, but i have issues with it. First is i still feel like Snyders stylish effects are off putting with the tone of these movies compared to his previous movies where they were more fitting. My next problem that just really upsets me is the fact that once again we have to watch Bruce's parents get killed. Its unnecessary, everyone knows the story by now and its just a waste of time in a movie that must reintroduce a new batman and alfred, introduce wonder woman for the first time, and lex luthor who has been in one movie few people have seen over the past 30 plus years. Even if it's thirty seconds, it's still 30 seconds that could be used fleshing other characters out.

But mainly I'm still unsure on Snyder period. We have to see Wonder Woman for the first time through the vision of one of the most sexist directors in hollywood and that scares me. I'm just hoping he decideds not to make her a rape victim like in all his other movies

I'm glad this isn't another Dark Knight Returns like Snyder initially said it was going to be (the animated movies were great, no need to revisit), but this movie is taking too much on at once. I'd be surprised of introducing two huge characters in one movie went down well.

The changes are also questionable. Bruce Wayne becomes Batman to fight Superman? How does that make any sense? He became Batman to honor his dead parents not ironically fight another vigilant. Speaking of an obvious copy-paste of Lex Luthor's motivation in the comics, why was scrawny, whiny Eisenberg cast to be Luthor? Lex Luthor has always been the epitome of the perfect man: tall, dark, stunningly attractive, remarkably intelligent, peak human physical condition, etc.

Even the title doesn't make sense. This is a continuation of Man of Steel. It should be Superman v Batman. It's just tapping into the Nolan-verse Batman hysteria.

That said, I liked Man of Steel, even with its stupid plot points. Maybe this movie will work well if I forget that it's actually based on something.

no, this Batman is already an established character in this universe. This isn't Batman's origin story. Bruce has been Batman for a while at this point. He chooses to use his suit to try killing Superman after what he did to Wayne Tower and the destruction he left.

Well, he already was Batman, he's just coming back. He probably quit being Batmn because one of the Robins were killed. That said i don't understand why Batman, world's greatest detective, would just make Superman out to be the bad guy, despite everyone in the world saw that they were going to destroy the planet and he was trying to stop it. A few people sure, but not Batman.

But i read comments by either Affleck or Snyder that said they plan on dealing with the consequences of it instead of making it a joke like other superhero movies and the only thing i could think of was MoS, because the Marvel movies have all dealt with that. Avengers dealt with them actually going out of their way to evacuate the city and at the end it shows people who are afraid of them, then that has been covered in the movies after also, especiaply Winter Soldier and culminating in Civil War. The Xmen movies have been nothing but the dangers of superpowered people and legal responsibility, and all the Spiderman movies have dealt with this. Only two movies have not dealt with planet wide threats seriously, Fantastic Four and Man of Steel which ends the movie with a big joke on how hes from Kansas and then the female character makes a joke about how hes hot. Hahahaha, but its cool, Snyder really takes thesebthings seriously, now after article after article bashing the movie's depiction of the destruction
