Over the last two years, rumors have spread of hostile mutated beings roaming the grounds of Fukushima. Although encounters are rare, and mostly isolated to the Eastern shore, these mutated creatures have been documented for fellow STALKERS. Name: Drones Overview: Drones have very little apparent physical mutations, and appear mostly human in nature. However changes made to their brain chemistry causes them to become ferociously savage and violent. Drones feast on the corpses of dead animals and any living thing they manage to get their hands on, including other humans. They move at a slow pace unless given a reason otherwise. Most Drones wander aimlessly throughout the wastes until they die of starvation or dehydration. Temperament: Hostile x Dangerous Name: Cutters Overview: Cutters appear to be a more augmented form of Drones. Their mutations have spread to a much more apparent physical nature. Large scythes sprout from the back of the human torso, and act as the creatures main ligaments. Behaviors remain the same as that of a Drone. Temperament: Hostile x Very Dangerous Name: Brawlers Overview: Brawlers are easily identified by their noticeably pale slimy skin, absent lower jaw, and third leg. They are fairly slow, but can jog short distances at a time. Brawlers respond to threats by swinging their massive elongated fists, using their increased upper body strength to smash their opponents. Once down, Brawlers finish their enemies with a acid vomit reflex, the result of which melts human flesh on contact. Brawlers are mostly encountered in dark damp areas, such as sewers or underground buildings. Temperament: Very Hostile x Very Dangerous Name: Vipers Overview: Little information has been gathered on Vipers. Encounters are extremely rare and typically end in fatality. From what has been gathered they appear to be mostly human, but with semblances of venomous snakes and scorpions. Large fangs protrude from it's disjointed human-like face. It's hind-legs fuse together to form a tail-like spear, which it uses for attacks. It is unknown if the tail is capable of injecting venom, but it has been confirmed that it's front fangs inject a highly potent toxin. Vipers can be found typically in the same areas you would Brawlers. However Vipers tend to be strictly loners, and avoid being parts of mutated contingents. Temperament: Extremely Hostile x Very Dangerous ![]() Name: Channelers Overview: Channelers are a special breed of mutants that are rumored to have telekinetic powers. There are only three documented cases of encounters with a channeler. One was described as a massive "elephant sized" mutant residing near the Fukushima NPP. The other two were described as pale young girls, with long hair. It was noted that the girls appeared non hostile until approached by STALKERS. Out of a group of five, one man survived the encounter and reported the events to others. Then later died of a brain aneurysm. Temperament: Hostile x Extremely Dangerous |
