Ra winked at Adam, bit why Adam could not discern. Adam didn't let the gesture bother him as he began to follow Calin's example and gather his weapons. The new ship meant they would be getting out of this cramped transport, although how much room there would be on the new ship was yet to be discovered. Adam quickly gathered his few weapons he posessed while listening to Ra's conversation with the Admiral, though this only created more questions. In the conversation Ra referred to himself as Arh Tsee, which meant that there was deception in more than just his new accent. What was the reason for this deception? Once again Adam stopped himself from questioning their current leader by convincing himself that Ra was just here on someone elses behalf and that he had to act that way, or that there was some other plausible reason for the deception. Though part of what he said was the truth, regarding the run in with the mercenaries and being forced to use their current ship. This fact helped put Adam's mind at ease. Adam lowered his head to hide his eyes. He knew you could tell alot about a person and what they were thinking/how they felt by what you saw in their eyes and he did not want his current doubt to be obvious since he hoped it was only to be a passing thought. Ra had cut the communication and motioned to the large warship that had suddenly become the focus of everyone's attention saying something to the effect of it being their new ship. Adam didn't catch exactly what Ra said, as he was too busy gawking at their new mode of transportation, his faith in Ra completely restored. |
