Star Wars: Shattered Galaxy

Episode I: Rise of Heroes

It has been over a hundred years, since former Jedi Master Hadrius Cul, the Black General, took the dissaffected and downtrodden, and massed them into the largest military force the galaxy had ever seen.

It has been over one hundred years, since the final battle of the Wave of Darkness hit Coruscant, and the skyline of the city planet was set ablaze. Since the Republic was shattered. Since every major, and most minor shipyards were destroyed. Since most of the galaxies armies and fleets were vanquished. Since a complex virus destroyed the galactic holonet.

It has been over one hundred years, since the Galaxy was shattered.

Today, a large empire, or alliance, of worlds might number half a dozen. Today, the largest fleets might near twenty five capital ships and two hundred fighters.

The Jedi and Sith, like all Force users, are despised or distrusted, through most of the galaxy. Yet they still exist, in small numbers. The hardy Mandalorians still thrive, damaged less from the great war than many others. Small pockets of what was once the Empire or the Republic exist, a few worlds here, claiming such a title, or a few there.

The galaxy has endured over one hundred years of darkness, with it's focus on survival, rather than war, or advancement. Ships have fallen to disrepair. Economies, now far more isolated, either thrive, or falter, based on local issues, rather than galactic.

A dark power is rising in the galaxy, hidden from the site of all, silent, and unknown.

The Galaxy has been shattered for far too long.......

Gharna flinched. The diea had finally caught up to her that she was inside one of the largest vessels ever made in a hundred years - and probably the most versitile of all of them. The Nadeshi had only comissioned two vessels of the same tonnage twenty years ago to replace their own aging vessels, and then their financial system had a demon's worth of time paying them off. And now she was comissioned to buy four of the same vessel. However, the government she represented did not know of the new technology, ergo - stick to conduct, and wait about three weeks before making the order? Or to get ahead slightly? Even then, while the design seemed Nadeshi, Or at least to the Captain, she thought, the construction would have to be altered for the military's specifications. A standard Imperial-II and a Nadeshi Imperial-II were two different beasts, or so she knew.

In the meantime, she reaffirmed herself that this alliance would be the beginning of a new age, doubtful though of the oligarchys that it constrained - the despotistic Mandolorians, the monarchys of Kuat and Prise, and the oligarchy of the .

During this time the Captain spoke deferred with the Operator. His duty was to be the escort to the Liasion Officer, and how they were about to meet a "mysterious" buyer slightly set him off. So, since there was a walking database right next to him, he deferred. "<Is there any mention of this being in Intel?" he asked the Operator in his native language. Gharna, suddenly coming out of thinking, looked over.

"<No,>" the Operator replied.

Before Gharna could ask, Captain Yer turned, stepped foreward so that he could be noticed, and inquired to Maz in an interested tone, "How long have you known your buyer, Admiral?"

Normally he wouldn't go above the negotiator, but in theory, any person of note would be in an Operator's database, regardless of whether or not they were wanted. Or relevant.
