Star Wars: Shattered Galaxy

Episode I: Rise of Heroes

It has been over a hundred years, since former Jedi Master Hadrius Cul, the Black General, took the dissaffected and downtrodden, and massed them into the largest military force the galaxy had ever seen.

It has been over one hundred years, since the final battle of the Wave of Darkness hit Coruscant, and the skyline of the city planet was set ablaze. Since the Republic was shattered. Since every major, and most minor shipyards were destroyed. Since most of the galaxies armies and fleets were vanquished. Since a complex virus destroyed the galactic holonet.

It has been over one hundred years, since the Galaxy was shattered.

Today, a large empire, or alliance, of worlds might number half a dozen. Today, the largest fleets might near twenty five capital ships and two hundred fighters.

The Jedi and Sith, like all Force users, are despised or distrusted, through most of the galaxy. Yet they still exist, in small numbers. The hardy Mandalorians still thrive, damaged less from the great war than many others. Small pockets of what was once the Empire or the Republic exist, a few worlds here, claiming such a title, or a few there.

The galaxy has endured over one hundred years of darkness, with it's focus on survival, rather than war, or advancement. Ships have fallen to disrepair. Economies, now far more isolated, either thrive, or falter, based on local issues, rather than galactic.

A dark power is rising in the galaxy, hidden from the site of all, silent, and unknown.

The Galaxy has been shattered for far too long.......

Ra turned back to Calin, and had to restrain himself from laughing. "Calin, will you just land this rusty old rig in the shuttle bay, as directed. We're not planning on stealing anything. That ship, is ours. Bought and paid for, by some good friends of mine, about a year or so ago. Tell your men, and the refugees, instead of arming up, to try and make themselves as presentable as possible, and be ready to man stations, on a much larger ship. And...if you have any engineers....have them assemble some manual laborers, cuz....engineering will need the most assistance, I'd imagine."

He turned back to the comm station, and set his accent back to the same lilt. "Ah, Thanks, Admiral. I imagine we'll be landing in a moment. Mah command crew will join you on the bridge momentarily. Arh Tsee out." He turned again, folding his arms triumphantly, and switching his gaze between Calin, and the controls, suggestively, a few times.

"Let's not keep them waiting, eh?" He glanced at Adam, and tossed him a quick wink, as he grinned almost like a child who'd just gotten a reallu big toy.....

Maz turned to face the Nadeshii, a thoughtful expression on his face. He stroked his chin for a few moments, then shrugged. "I don't believe we've known the buyer at all, prior to their purchase. They paid well, especially with the plans for the ship being provided, and handed to us, after the trial period. Their man, Arh Tsee? Never heard of him. But he submitted the correct codes, and we were told to expect something a little less than what we'd expect, when their man arrived to collect their ship."

He looked over the others, the betrothed two, obviously were a bad mismatch. He shook his head slowly. Political marriages were never easy, and he didn't actually approve of this one. But, that was the Queen's call, not his. The Chiss was nervous. A lot was happening, and his race had been in relative isolation for many years. Tha Mandalorian seemed almost is if he was expecting things to be moving as they were, but Maz knew him to be a veteran warrior, and so it could have just been composure. The Nadeshii were curious, almost to the point of paranoia, but again, isolationism will have that affect.

"I wouldn't worry, my friends. Even with a single Dawnstrike Class as a flagship, our mysterious buyers hardly have anything that would make them a threat to our alliance."
