The purpose of this topic is pretty simple. As the 'gamemaster' for the story/RP...I came equiped with some solid ideas for where I see the story heading. As the players, it's part of your job to develope the story, and that often includes mucking up things I had planned. This is a good thing, not a bad thing. Anyone who's ever DM'd/GM'd/Storytold....whichever tabletop RPG term you're familiar with...will tell you, the best adventures usually deviat from the plot outline, based on player decisions. All the same, any good GM will tell you, it helps to have an idea where things are going. At a later point, sometime soon, though, I think....I'll put up a rough sketch of some of the basic things that will be going on in upcoming chapters. None of it is set in stone, till the chapter is finished, and set in the history/archive section. What I wanna here from everyone, is basically, a rough idea where they see their character developing....short and long term. It'll help me set up events to accomodate everyone's interests. I'll start...with Ra, as well as the first 2 major story arc NPC's, Barrick and Jesera...... Ra Cul Ra was raised, in at least some secrecy, at first...by the Black Knights. Now more a secret society, than the war mongers they began as, the Black Knights raised and trained Ra to fulfill an impressive destiny. Reunite the shattered galaxy. Ra hovers near the Dark Side, but does so pretty fearlessly. Sooner or later, this is likely to be a costly mistake. Ra has a almost whimsical outlook on things, likely a self defence mechanism, to keep him somewhat sane, given the incredible destiny he's been raised to believe he has. Bit by bit, Ra is piecing together the beginnings of a group that will aid him in reuiniting the galaxy, and possibly serving as it's new governing body.... Barrick Leone Barrick Leone is Ra's opposite number. A veteran soldier, and powerful wielder of the Dark Side, his saber skills place him in the realm of people like Garret Cul, Zann Riegal, Isaac Leonhart, Mace Windu, and Mannanan. Aside from and impressive military background, Barrick also recieved training in the Dark Side from the Dark Legion, where much of his background and family lineage stems from. Initially, at least, Barrick is our 'Darth Vader'. He's that nasty foe none of us can hope to best, one on one...or likely several on one. He's gonna be a major pain in the good guys side for a while. And he's specifically out to thwart Ra, the Black Knights, and anyone who even appears to be working alongside them. Jesera Valentine Decended from the lineage of Mannanan, Jesera is the model Jedi....on the outside at least. Her time spent undercover as a Black Widow has left her shaken, moreso, when she discovered the terrible truth about who trained Barrick..... Jesera will continue to be a Jedi prodigy, and rise through the ranks....and she will eventually go questing for the fabled silver sabers of the BladeDancer....a side plot, that will relate to the overall story, and be a cool way to divide the group up some.... Adam Vren's Future Raised in a colony cut off from the world has instilled him with good values. He was sent to lead a trading mission to a nearby city to test his leadership for his future in the colony. Upon reaching the city he noticed something was wrong and made an executive decision to send the others back and stay to make sure they got away safetly. This decision got him caught up with Ra and everyone else, and he has been forced to become part of the ragtag group. Will eventually develop a loyalty to Ra and follow him to the universe's end if necessary. If Ra joins the Dark Side this loyalty will drive him to do what he is told, even if he believes it is wrong. Although his sense of right and wrong may prevail if he is pushed far enough. Hopes to one day return to the colony and his friends and family. |

Calin Riegal Calin grew up completely apart from his family. He only remembers his life on Coruscant, even though he was born on Illum. He has no knowledge that he is a descendant of the Riegal line, all former Jedi and a former Grand Master in Zann Riegal. He has possession of Zann's lightsabers, passed down through the Riegal line and ending up in his possession. He regards them with both reverence and with a wariness, considering the general opinion of the Jedi. He has never met a soul who has knowledge of his past, until Ra and Jesera, though they don't yet know who he is. Calin leads a group of around 24 people(including himself) that attempt to combat the lawlessness on Coruscant. They know that they cannot save the entire planet, but feel it is best for their own survival as well as the survival of others if they band together and attempt to do everything they can to help. I would like at to get them involved in some way, whenever the opportunity best presents itself. I see Calin over time learning about his past from either Ra or Jesera. It seems to me(and I may be wrong) that Ra might withhold his knowledge until an opportune time. Revealing things systematically whenever it best suits his purpose. This would create a sense of loyalty to Ra in Calin, as he is hungry for knowledge about his past. How far he would get towards the darkside before his sense of righteousness forced him back is yet to be seen. Edited by Calin Riegal, Jul 10 2008, 05:08 AM.

Teslan has managed to become the figurehead of the Chiss and is working on eliminating the Aristocra seeing them as slowing the process of rebuilding. He will work on creating alliances with other galactic powers and use them to advance his goals. |

Leto see's in himself a role to change the things that have gone wrong and feels a strong need in him to reunite and rebuild the entire Galaxy. Despising for aggressive force he believes all can be resolved with verbal discussions and debates. He seeks to end conflicts of rivaling powers and bring together a New Senate of Free Planets. Much like the old Republic but fortifying its weak spots. That is his idea and his dream but he will find it hard to obtain as he goes on. As he marries Tesia Asheni Heiress to the Kuat Empire he will meet some limitations, but gain access to more routes to obtain his plans. He will eventually set up a Galactic Restoration project he will head himself using his Royal Banner in both the houses of Asheni and Exellius to promote a time of treaty. His first major mark will be Coruscant as a header to restore a center of communications. As he meets new people especially being a destined ally in Ra Cul he will grow new philosophies. Leto at first when he meets Ra will be in a disagreement but bound by the tenets set by his ancestor Avan Exellius must respectfully listen to the Heir to the Cul Mantle of the Force. Leto through Ra will learn truths about his ancestor and through Leto Ra will learn Likewise. A close friendship will be made and with leto's political power he will be Ra's most motivational and diplomatic ally in the future able to guide him through legalities and possibilities that could be made in negotiations. True to their ancestors history Leto will find Ra as his truest confident. He will try to hold his anti-violence and pascifist ways through his many encounters though if he can, as with any Cul, "Trouble does not find find them it literally stands in their face." ~ Avan Exellius. Possibilities in the future with others especially interactions with Ra are... -- A taking up of arms while not fully throwing aside peaceful negotiations he may learn to throw fists when attack is in his directions. -- A higher training in the Force and a possible ascendancy to his Great Grandfathers power. -- Expanded training of mind and becoming a Strategist under his influence of Ra. -- From those he meets he may express more interest of bladed weapon training. -- Pending on those he meets and his advancement in the force he might find a destiny as a New Jedi or an Independent Gray Jedi (Not saying there is a gray side to the force... but a Force users who takes more liberties than most Orthodox Jedi). He may even delve into the Dark Side if given proper reasoning. -- He will eventually earn his wings later. -- Find conflict and conspiracies within the Royal Families. -- Possibly Defect from the Empires, be exiled, excommunicated, or disowned by his family and the Empire over future conflicts and disagreements. |
