GameMaster Posts: 142 Group: GameMaster Member #1 Joined: January 28, 2008	The purpose of this topic, is to directly relate the stuff from the character ideas topic, Directions, to the general ideas of the overall story plot. Here's a rough sketch outline, of the first few chapters of Shattered Galaxy... Shattered Galaxy: Episode I, Rise of Heroes Chapter 1: Hope Chapter 1's primary purposes are to begin to establish the overall look and feel of the current state of affairs in the galaxy, and to introduce some of the people who will become major players throughout the story. Light in the Dark As we've already seen, this topic is where Ra Cul has begun to assemble a small group of people. It has established, or will establish, the fact Ra has an agenda. It has introduced a major bad guy, and hinted to the existance of someone even higher up the food chain. The topic will come to a close somewhere around the escape from Coruscant. Promises This topic, which should be up shortly, will introduce several other characters, including a few story arc NPC's. It's set in Kuati system, where Ra and his pals will be heading next. It will focus on some of the political/military aspects of the state of galactic affairs. Come the Dawn The final topic of Chapter 1, will reveal that specially designed starship mentioned in Ra's bio, and send the whole galaxy into an uproar, as Ra commits a pair of acts so unthinkable, no one will have seen them coming...the lesser of which will be opening fire on Kuati vessels..... These will be the only 3 topics for Chapter 1. Chapter 2: Flight With half the galaxy searching for Ra and his friends, shelter must be found....but where is safe, from that many different factions? Outbound This topic will pick up pretty much immedietely after the jump to hyperspace from Kuat. The implications of what Ra has done should be sinking in, and I'd guess he'd best be doing some really fast talking, if he wants to avoid a mutiny.... Alliances In the wake of Ra's bold actions, the initial members of the Alliance must test their resolve, and determine if they are truly capable of moving their fledgling alliance into decesive action. Of Widows & Warriors This topic will focus on Barrick Leone, the Black Widows, and any other....not so nice...folks that have been created by this time. A chance to see what the opposition is cooking up, and some small insight into their grander schemes. Excellior On the run, from all kinds of people, Ra takes refuge at Excellior, homeworld of the Min. Ra's gonna drop some serious hints here, about what he's up to, and why he's doing the things he's doing, and expect a big bombshell from Jesera. I've listed 4 topics here for Chapter 2. We allow up to 5 topics per chapter. I'm leaving room, at this point, for a couple extras, in case we come up with new ideas along the way.... Chapter 3: Into the Fire With the startling revelations from the close of last chapter, time is even more crucial than before. The group must now find their way through a slowly organizing galactic community, in time to identify a truly dangerous threat...and this means going to enlist some aid.... Illum Against better judgement, the group sets off to the homeworld of the Jedi Order....and with the colored past of much of the group...that's sure to be an...entertaining...stop over. Clouds Gather Led by Barrick Leone, the group's opposition begins to form a council of war, and Barrick plays the first of his trump cards.....another topic to focus a bit on the bad guys, but also any of the opposition still in the dark about what's really going on.... Korriban Knowing some of what faces them, Ra determines the Jedi alone, may not be enough force to strike back with, so, along with anyone bold enough to follow, he makes the journey to Korriban, to enlist the aid of the Sith! Again...3 out of a possible 5 topics....to allow room for creative juices to come up with new ideas... Chapter 4 will go to 5 topics...4 normal, and the 5th topic will be one of those major event, larger topics...... Edited by Ra Cul, Dec 16 2008, 08:38 AM.

GameMaster Posts: 142 Group: GameMaster Member #1 Joined: January 28, 2008	Here is a brief look a bit further ahead, and I will expand upon it as we go.....and very likely, alter it, as we go, based on the individual efforts of the members here..... Chapter 4: Cry Havoc! While Ra and the small band he's been gathering continue to lead an elusive trail across the galaxy, Barrick Leone has mustered the new Alliance towards....war? But who is really the target? And who is truly the enemy? Of Skulls & Rangers From Korriban, Ra's next stop is the planet of Generis, base of operations of the famous Sector Rangers, and birthplace of the legendary, Skull Squadron. But what kind of reception will these hunted criminals recieve, from a place bathed in such heroic light? Alliance at the Ready At Kuat, the members of the Alliance gather, as Barrick warns of Ra's invasionary fleet, bringing witnesses of his dealings with the Sith, as well as news of his ties to the IRI. Council of Shadows Another Alliance meets, in deep secrecy, to plan the downfall of this fledgling Alliance, and the fall of both the Jedi Order, and the Sith. Black is the Knight Before Ra and his companions can leave Generis, they are intercepted by an old aquaintance of Ra's....one of the mythical Black Knights. But will this Knight be friend, or foe? Battle for Kuat! As the Alliance readies itself, it's worst fears are realized, a fleet arrives, far stronger than they'd believed possible, and seemingly under the banner of the Black General! Will the Alliance prevail? And what crucial role will the Companions play in the battle? (Major Topic)
