Star Wars: Shattered Galaxy

A Long Time Ago, In A Galaxy Far, Far Away.....

Star Wars: Shattered Galaxy

Episode I: Rise of Heroes

It has been over a hundred years, since former Jedi Master Hadrius Cul, the Black General, took the dissaffected and downtrodden, and massed them into the largest military force the galaxy had ever seen.

It has been over one hundred years, since the final battle of the Wave of Darkness hit Coruscant, and the skyline of the city planet was set ablaze. Since the Republic was shattered. Since every major, and most minor shipyards were destroyed. Since most of the galaxies armies and fleets were vanquished. Since a complex virus destroyed the galactic holonet.

It has been over one hundred years, since the Galaxy was shattered.

Today, a large empire, or alliance, of worlds might number half a dozen. Today, the largest fleets might near twenty five capital ships and two hundred fighters.

The Jedi and Sith, like all Force users, are despised or distrusted, through most of the galaxy. Yet they still exist, in small numbers. The hardy Mandalorians still thrive, damaged less from the great war than many others. Small pockets of what was once the Empire or the Republic exist, a few worlds here, claiming such a title, or a few there.

The galaxy has endured over one hundred years of darkness, with it's focus on survival, rather than war, or advancement. Ships have fallen to disrepair. Economies, now far more isolated, either thrive, or falter, based on local issues, rather than galactic.

A dark power is rising in the galaxy, hidden from the site of all, silent, and unknown.

The Galaxy has been shattered for far too long.......

Tiesa Asheni; Princess of Kuat

Tiesa Asheni
Newbie
[ * ]
Name:Tiesa Asheni

Alias: Your Highness, Little Asheni

Gender:female

Species:human

Age:18

Alignment: Kuat System, Prise Empire

Rank: Heiress to Kuat

Personality: Tiesa has a fiery spirit like her father. Ready fight at any time she is fierce, rambunctious, yet playful. When training or fighting she is serious, cold-hearted, and merciless to her opponent. Outside however she is laid back and caring. Not one to crack under pressure she makes a good warrior.

Tiesa isn’t one to snap at people but has been known to yell, especially when the topic of her father is brought up. Even though she understands that fighting is not always a choice she harbors a deep hate for pacifism, as she prefers her weapons. Argumentative she is always up for a debate.

Tiesa can be calm and gentle when she wants to be, around her people especially. Those of her age and younger get to see that side of her more often than anyone else.

In politics, Tiesa, like her uncle,(who trained her), has a silver tongue, but she still has much to learn before she’s ready to rule, and become a real diplomat.

Bio:

Two Brothers
Randrel was the second born of the current Empress, his older brother only three when he was born though. He was always the smaller, but the stronger of the two. Always a fighter he loved his training as his brother, Roric, loved books and diplomacy.

As the two boys grew they created almost one person. Randrel the brawn, and Roric the brains, the sword and the tongue. As they were of royal descent, though males they were still treated as the Empresses’ sons. At 18 Roric was given the choice of finding a wife who would one day become Empress as the current Empress knew that Randrel was her last child. Roric however chose not to and instead chose to become a diplomat. He went on to study more about politics and the like, while Randrel stayed at home with his mother, training all the while in his weapons mastery. He didn’t care for Roric being gone so long but at 15 he didn’t really have a say in what his brother did and didn’t do.

Shortly after Randrel’s 18th birthday, their father died, and Roric returned for the burial and to complete his studies. With him he brought a young woman who was also studying diplomacy. Randrel caught sight of the woman and fell almost immediately in love with her. It took a while for him to woo her but he succeeded eventually and married her naught four years later.

After a year their mother died leaving Kathlyn, daughter by marriage, the new Empress of Kuat. She was a bit uncomfortable with the title but with Randrel by her side, and Roric behind her to guide her and help her she accepted.

An Heiress

Six years after they were married they announced Kathlyn’s pregnancy with the possible heir to the throne. Nine months later, she gave birth to their daughter, heiress to Kuat, who Randrel named Teisa. Randrel loved her more than anything, as he would be found, while Kathlyn was doing necessary work, cuddling with his daughter and playing the role of doting father.

When she was 5 her father began training her in weaponry and fighting, while, Roric, at her mother’s request started her diplomatic training, and leaning of politics. Though young Tiesa absorbed everything she was taught and retained it all. She loved especially when her father or uncle would take her out on walks to get her away for a bit, and to teach her as well in a different setting.

Though she spent most of her time with her father and uncle, she spent time with her mother bonding with her when she could, and when she couldn’t she often followed her mother as well, learning everything she could from her.

Around her 10th birthday Tiesa, clung to her father not wanting him to leave, or to take her with her. He refused and then left, knowing that he was going to fight off some pirates who had been in the area. Tiesa, being the type to not take no for an answer at that time, followed her father, shadowing him, so as not to be caught.

She hid in a bush and waited as she saw her father stop in front of three men, the pirates. They didn’t look very strong, but Tiesa knew better even now not to judge people by their first appearance. She jumped and gasped as they all drew swords, her father just standing there staring them down. As she did they all turned and looked at her, her father’s face one of surprise, and worry.

Death of Randrel

‘Tiesa….no…’ Randrel thought as he saw his daughter stand up from behind the bushes. His protective and fatherly instincts kicking in as he drew his sword. One of the pirates lunged at him, but he dodged, making sure that it was in a way so he could get closer to Tiesa. He brought down his sword as he felt the hilt catch the man’s neck, snapping it. Looking to the other two standing there he wanted to get to Tiesa a quickly as possible knowing that where there were three there was bound to be more around. The second lunged at him as well as the first. They were no match however for Randrel. He took them on easily dodging, and getting hits as well. From the style he was using, Tiesa could see that he was toying with them.

She did however shriek when a bolt from a sniper from behind them caught her father off guard, in the shoulder. He jumped back to Tiesa and stood in front of her. He let his left arm hang, it would hinder him but it was nothing that he couldn’t deal with normally fighting with his right hand.

Tiesa looked up at her father in amazement, having never seen him fight seriously in battle outside of mock ones that he and her uncle had every now and again. This time though she knew that it was life or death, that it was the bandits or her or even her father. No liking any outcome other than she and her father living she stayed as quiet as she could, her father continuing to fight.

Another bolt caught him and then three more as he moved to block them from hitting his daughter. Randrel knew that he couldn’t hold out much longer but he would fight until the end for his people and his daughter. He started to see stars and black around the edges of his vision but he knew he had to fight on, protective instinct made his body move, killing at last one of the three there, a fatal mistake he would never be able to correct. As he turned to pull his blade out a chilling cold held him still as he looked down in disbelief as the knife just above his heart, but it had cut an artery. Falling to his knees he looked over at Tiesa yelling at her to run.

His tone must have scared her because as soon as his eyes closed she took off running down through the bushes in to a man in white robes, she knew was her uncle. He had found her after they had searched the grounds. He quickly ushered her inside and brought her to safety, after the guards took care of the pirate, he carried his younger brother’s body in giving him the proper burial.

------

Tiesa took up arms after that becoming a fighter like her father was much to her uncle and mother’s dismay. She knows how to speak as a princess, and future ruler when she needs to but she prefers to finish off her fights with the blades she practices with now.
