ROLEPLAY RULES
Here is where the laws and rules of the roleplay will be kept. You are required to follow these. Not following these can lead to warnings of even becoming banished from Salem!

CHAPTER ONE: BEHAVIOUR.
  • Behaviour ruled as "bullying" either on the forums or Habboon will not be tolerated. If found to be bullying another member of the roleplay, you will be verbally warned. If you continue to do so, you will be kicked and or banned. Treat everyone with respect.

  • Plagiarism will not be allowed. If you use a part of somebody's work and claim it as your own, there will be severe consequences yet again. You should always credit the person at the bottom of the work.

  • Since this is a Roleplay dated back in the times of the Salem Witch Trials, Behavior must be proper. As it was in the past, Males are looked as the Dominate race in the town and Females are looked down on slightly. So we ask (If you're female) that you still be respectable as you would if you lived back then.
CHAPTER TWO: CHARACTER CREATION.

  • When in a Salem room, you must have the correct motto. Found to be without the correct motto then you will be asked to change and if you ignore this, you will be kicked from the room. An example of a correct motto is: `S` [First Name Last Name/Initial] Occupation. After occupation, you will place your race: (W) For Witch, (EW) for Elder Witch, (T) for Townie, or (WH) Witch Hunter.

  • On Habboon, your avatar must be wearing appropriate attire. Please remember that this RP is set back in the times of the Salem Witch Trials, so no blue hair and bikini's when walking around.

  • Everyone will be limited to a group of 5 characters. If you have anymore characters than that, they will be counted as void and moved to the Inactive Characters forums. Once/If one of your characters die, you can contact Senior Staff or Nate and Ria and they will move your Inactive Character to the Active forum.

  • You cannot have a canon surname unless you have applied for it on the forums and have been accepted.
CHAPTER THREE: ROLEPLAYING.

  • In order to cast a spell you must use 5 lines. Aim, Spell Name, Cast, Connection, and effect. If your Spell Name is Incorrect, you must Re-aim and finish your line correctly. Other actions will be required to have a 6+ word line. Anything under that, will be voided.

  • All roleplay must be enclosed by an asterisk (*) or hyphen (-). Anything else such as (;) will be void.

  • Chatspeak won't be allowed at all. For example: *I walk over 2 the girl slowly*, *I look at u in a disapproving manner.*

  • Whispers will be indicated using a semicolon. Thoughts will be indicated using a double semicolon. These both occur on Habboon, not on the forums as on the forums there will be paragraphs instead. An example of a whisper would be, ; They're an embarrassment to Salem. ; and an example of a thought would be ;; She's a witch ;;.

  • Since people like to spam roleplay, we have decided to make any dodging action be 2+ Lines. This is to make the roleplay realistic as dodging as spell wouldn't be very easy.

  • Randoming will not be tolerated, realistically you wouldn't go around punching/hitting people. Yes, there can be drunken rages but you may not kill during these rages you can only semi harm a person since you are intoxicated. Death can but doesn't exactly have to be agreed with. You may only kill without agreement, if your character has a good reason as to why they would hate/ want to kill them or if it involves a storyline. Any other form or randoming will be voided and may result in a ban.
