After confessing, Yuuki hadn't seen it coming at all. Mamoru stepping forward and taking his sleeves, going up on toes and bringing their lips together. First of all, they shouldn't be doing this in public, though no one but them seemed to live around here. But... his feelings were returned? Really? Honestly? "Me too." The chocolates staying in Yuuki's hand between them, he looked down at Mamoru's bluer than the skies eyes. Too surprised to think of anything to say. Instead, he just watched as Mamoru took a chocolate and ate it with a grin. To be honest, Yuuki had hoped that the singer would return his feelings, but hadn't thought out a scenario for if he did. But the feeling that grew in his chest quickly brought him back to earth. Inexplicable joy. "Aishiteruyo~" Being scooped up in a hug, Mamoru laughed after swallowing the chocolate and hugging back. To be honest, he sort of already could tell Yuuki liked him. But he couldn't tell what kind of like it was. A lot of people treated Mamoru like he was just some cute little kid that they still somehow admired, so Yuuki wasn't anything new in that field. But it still, it seemed different. Like there was that nagging something else there. Then, jokingly thinking that maybe it's love... Well once Mamoru started seeing Yuuki like that, things became different in a good way. So finally being able to confirm things was perfect. Like Yuuki was perfect. Even his imperfections were perfect. Months later, the relationship wasn't really any different. The dates, more often than not, seemed to cater to Mamoru's interests. Stuff Yuuki only had a vague interest it. It's not like Yuuki really spent his time admiring the statues or the fish in the aquariums anyway. No, he was watching Mamoru, who's eyes were absolutely dazzling when he was in an art museum or at the fish section of a zoo. How excited he got and how much he talked, compared to his usually sleepy and quiet self, was so amazing. Watching him work is the same, when he's practicing his singing, or when he's getting all serious with his art or choreography. Despite his laid-back nature, he was so focused and serious. Though his ways of getting inspiration could be a bit funny, like rollerblading for hours. But it's not like all of them catered to the older man, Mamoru took Yuuki places. A soccer game, and paying for the warm food in the cold. To the library, though Mamoru ended up falling asleep against the keyboardist on the couch they were sitting on. Set up a picnic next to a river, catching him dinner and grilling it for him and then they could play in the water together and dry off in the sun. It was Yuuki's idea to go see fireworks, but Mamoru decided on which festival to go to. But tonight, he was taking Yuuki stargazing. "I got clearance from the agency... to use the roof top." Climbing to the top of the stairs, he held open the door for the younger of the two, exiting onto the top of the agency's tokyo building's roof. A blanket was laid out, taped down on the corners. Some champagne sitting in a bucket of ice next to the blanket, and a basket with a glass lid sitting over it (probably to keep bugs out). Mamoru preferred beer over champagne, but he was probably catering to Yuuki's whole being rich thing. After all, Yuuki often gave them champagne on birthdays, so he'd like it, right? Sitting down on the blanket, the artist pulled out a package from his bag, handing it over. "What's this? It's not our anniversary or anything." "It's a thank you gift... for taking me... so many places." Watching as the keyboardist pulled way the rapping paper and opened the box, Mamoru pursed his lips as the teen admired the little figurine. "It's for good luck, with work... Don't push yourself. If it's too much... no one will blame you." Between being a newscaster, variety shows, dramas, and then band work; it would be really hard, right? And he takes Mamoru out in his free time. The little figurine was pretty cute, though, in Yuuki's opinion. It stood on a stand, with a briefcase in one hand and music sheets in the other. Fashionable clothes, a soccer ball at his feet... "Waa~ Thank you so much!" Leaning over, he gave the elder man a peck on the lips with the intentions now of deepening it. But Mamoru pulled away, setting his hands on Yuuki's shoulders. Having it pointed out to him that the ice would melt so they should have some of their drink, and then Mamoru had put together some sandwiches and different kinds of fried rice. Sitting together and having the date like normal, with their weird assortment of refreshments, they got ready to watch the meteor shower together. Once it started, they both watched it at first, but the fisherman's gaze soon fell to the mesmerized rapper. Guess... this must be why they always went places Mamoru liked, right? Getting to watch the person you love look so happy and excited and wonder-filled... "Ne, ne~ Did you wish for something?" "Hmmm..." Now would be the time to say something romantic, right? "To catch three tunas next time I go fishing!" Well, whatever. That was just as good as anything, right? Either way, the scenery was good, wasn't it? Champagne, a meteor shower, fingers laced, and soon enough... lips connected. Sure the taste was questionable, as the sandwiches and rice tasted kind of funny with champagne. But neither of them paid any mind. Nothing mattered right now. No one could catch them up here, no one could bother them. Maybe it wasn't the ideal place to have sex, but it was good enough. No, it was perfect. |
