"Hey, hey, hey, Papa-saaan~ Hey~ Isn't this cute, wouldn't this be cute for the Christmas cards and parties? Hey~" Tugging on my fiance's arm excitedly, trying to pull his attention away from a painting he was marveling, I held up a costume of an elf and one of a santa-present-bag. Though, theme costumes meant all of us were going to be in-theme. So Mamoru was then picking me out a Christmas tree costume ('It matches your shoulders!') while he got santa, and our third, eldest child, Ryouta, got a reindeer. I didn't really want to be a tree, I'd much rather be Mrs Claus since we already have an outfit for her and everything. Not... that... that outfit would be appropriate to wear in front of the children, much less me wearing it in our Christmas cards.

Doing some present shopping and decoration shopping, along with food and other necessities, we eventually made it home lugging grocery bags. "We're ho~me~" The excited cries of 'Papa~' and 'Mama~' warming my heart up from being outside in the cold, I set the grocery bags down on the floor and scooped up the littlest little baby Takuma. "Aw~ Did you miss me?"

"Un! Mama daaaiiisuki!" Getting a nice, cozy little baby hug, my heart turned to goo and I had to strongly resist the urge to just curl up on the floor holding Takuma to try and absorb his cuteness. I wouldn't have resisted, however, if Ryouta hadn't started to dig around in the shopping bags while Mamoru tried to get Izo to stop pulling his nose. If Takuma wasn't so super adorable, I'd start to think they had planned a distraction so the eldest sibling could find out all the gifts. But there was no way someone could plan to be this stinkin' cute!

"Ryouta, don't make me tickle you!" Setting Takuma down on the floor with a little poof sound, I gathered up the bags and went into the kitchen to start unloading the perishables. Hiding the presents for wrapping soon after, before finally coming back downstairs with everyone's costumes to change into to make sure they fit. No one was nearly as thrilled as I was, but they cooperated none the less. Helping Takuma into his little puffed up present bag costume, the stuffing in it making him look poofy, and then straightening the horns on the hood of Ryouta's reindeer onesie, I had the two of them stand with Izo for a picture once Mamoru got him dressed and applied fake elf ears.

"This is probably the cutest thing we've ever done with them."

"You say that every time... we do anything..." The two of us getting into our costumes as well, I laughed, claiming that wasn't true. But, well, it was. Because everything was cute! They got cuter every day, after all! Gathering on the couch once we were all ready, I set up the camera and set the timer. Taking a few pictures, we picked out the one for the christmas card before getting back into regular clothes.
