They emphasized that there are trillions of combinations too. Still, I don't think there's ANY harm in having someone put in random strings of letters. We might get lucky, who knows? And also working backwards on mazes is always the smart way to go to be honest. It's easier to work backwards on mazes.

I feel like there's no way we get lucky with that many combinations.

Quirky! Posts: 295 Group: Expelled Member #9 Joined: Nov 29, 2016	It can't hurt, but in all likelihood, we won't want more than 1 person fucking around with drawing shit. The more hands on deck doing the actual puzzle solving, the better! That being said, some people just think better if they can work 'with their hands' so to speak, so I don't want to limit anyone. Pull up any tools you think you may need. I mentioned this before, but it's worth keeping in mind: most mazes are like 1 path from start to end, with lots of dead ends, right? that's what people think of when they think 'maze', because if there were a bunch of paths, what's the point, right? but we don't know that's true for this challenge. why? because the actual challenge isn't about finding the path, it's about using little line segments to connect in the right order and follow the right path. so when you look at the maze we get, we MAY have many paths to choose from, most of which will be wrong. so basically the first thing we gotta check is what kind of maze is it? 1 path or many paths? if we're given a 1 path maze, i'll quickly draw the path we gotta follow and post that too. that'll make the challenge easy. if not, then we're just gonna have to work together and brute-force it, probably. i can maybe draw up multiple paths if there aren't like, a gajillion, and use different colours for each. then we can maybe break into teams and each try different paths? that sounds cool or what?

Technically, if we wanted to, we could type in letter combinations NOW. The subforum is right there. But we shouldn't because it'd be pointless. And yeah, I really doubt there are any world combinations that use every letter from a to s, and only once each. it's just a random string of letters.
