Just making a new thread for organizing I guess. http://doodle.com/poll/xwqys3rsid5cezsk If everyone could fill this poll out so we can figure out challenge stuff and sit out, that would be great! The form is in Eastern Time (ET). Also, I'm figuring out how to do a practice run of the game. Since it's run on Google Docs, I think we may need 4 documents, one for each player's hand. So You would get access to 3 documents and not the one for your own hand (since you only see OTHER player's hands). On top of that, probably one document to show our progress. So 5 in all. |

I found a solid strategy guide. I'm just reading it now, I know it's long, but it'll be worth it to know how to play the game. https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/804762/elusive-25-point-game-tips-effective-hanabi-play |

Definitely a solid plan. I figured out how to make a practice thing. That should be good to go for practice whenever we are. I can run it with 3 or 4, depending on what we want to do. |

I asked a mod, and apparently all drawn cards will replace the previous played or discarded card. So if you have a hand that looks like: card 1, card 2, card 3, card 4 and you play card 2, you draw a new card and it goes where card 2 was. this is important, because hand placement is a typical way of signaling information or simplifying draw or discard order. So that's one thing we can't do in this challenge. |

@Mods: Will we be allowed to write down the actions that had been taken previously, or do we have to go completely by memory? |

https://en.boardgamearena.com/#!gamepanel?game=hanabi If you want practice in the mean time you can try this online Hanabi. It's a good system. I do also have a practice that is hopefully more like the one we will be doing, but playing is a great way to learn the rules. |

Yeah, that seems like it might be a good time. I think this might take 30-40 minutes to run through based on what im seeing in the practice. |

I wonder if we can write notes down about who knows what clues in addition to actions. |

OK. So the main things I think we need to know are: -Lizzie, do you think it's not going to be possible to get on in the evening tonight or tomorrow? -Gabriella, do you think you'll be able to be on in the evening tonight or tomorrow to work on the challenge? -Everyone, do we think it's best to do this in the evening, or try to determine another time that's not in the evening? |

So assume all times in this are PST for me because I think then my work schedule will make more sense. I work midnight to 6am on my paper route tonight and I need to be in bed by 3 to get my 8 hours in and tomorrow I work 9-2pm at my day job and then work midnight to 6am again so I really need to be in bed by 3pm that day. I'm sorry I just have to be sleeping in the evenings with my work schedule
