In ncaa 12 the punt coverage team will not be fixed , i will explain ,the line of scimage is a stay at home forcefield while the gunners are predetermined warp scecialists that make the play on the returner at will. in football over 38 % of the time the long snapper is the first one down the field avoiding and disrupting the wedge from occurring in the play its self. now in EA's punt coverage philosophy the gunners are the predetermined tacklers involved in the play.they hardly ever get blocked, even at the point of attack or at this years version of "collision detection" the coverage blockers stay at the line of scrimage which is a forcefield creating an illusion of blocking while would be punt blockers all jump up at the same exact time in mid air at the line of scrimage to attempt to block a punt from 15 yards away, this concept of punt coverage from both sides of the game is flawed, keep in mind you will have less than 2% of the time to make a tackle with a long snapper ,if that, because of the" motion caption" in this game, this is wrong and needs to be fixed. |
