I remember Lost vikings and Super Mario RPG. Those games were awesome. As well as Slam Master, Micro Machines and Double Dragons & Battletoads. Then there was the Bomberman games for the N64 too. The first Mario Party was the best one to me, and who could forget Sonic 3 and Knuckles. The Contra games were fun too, I feel like playing one actually. :P

Yeah I know it seems like no one really has any good ideas for video games anymore. :D

Yeah, the old games are just classics but the new ones are...well, boring. Now they mainly have shooting games and futuristic games but before they had racing games and adventure games. They just don't do it anymore . The only ones that do are mainly the Mario games.

Shooters can be fun, but I like the Classics, back when story meant more then flashy graphics. :(

In this day and age, a lot of people believe that a great game, has to have ridiculously great graphics. I'll agree that a game has to look nice but I'd like to see more 2D animated games with awesome animation. I love 2D, lots of art work. :)

Hm...I'd like to see someone pull off an excellent game using only NES limitations. I wonder how everyone would respond to something like that in this day and age!

I would put the limits at SNES, I loved most of the old Super Nintendo graphics..or at least for the RPGs and stuff....I just miss sprites...I mean try and pull of the some of the expressions from Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger with 3D models.

Limits at NES for visual folks these days (it's all 3D and realism for most of 'em I tell ya!).

And, if you really must see 2D facial expression in 3D...Look here

Just look at a few screen shots of Street Fighter IV and laugh at the facial expressions!

Try this one on for size Shun.

But one game that really impresses me with it's 2D graphics, is none other than, Metal Slug!

Hopefully, with thing's like Xbox Live Arcade and WiiWare we'll be getting good old classic style titles. Hm...quite a shame that no one wants to make a plat-former anymore. Other than Mario and a select few other's, Plat-forming is largely being ignored.

Come on Oboro Muramasa (Wii title by Vanilla Ware: The Odin Sphere/Grim Grimoire team!

REally what I would like to see right now is a re-make/port of Chrono Trigger to the GBA...
