oh goody, this has indeed fomented some discussion.
:D i'm inclined to agree with what shun said. i'm not really offended by the usual portrayal of black people in videogames, but there's rarely any alternatives to show. 99% of the characters are just a stereotype. now, that doesn't necessarily mean that the developing team is racist, but it does USUALLY mean that the cast of strong, silent characters would make for a very dull game without some minority in there to liven up the interactions. cole did just that. |
