I looked upon the scene before me - upon the mere house, and the simple landscape features of the domain - upon the bleak walls upon the vacant eye-like windows - upon a few rank sedges - and upon a few white trunks of decayed trees - with an utter depression of the soul, which I can compare to no earthly sensation… - Edgar Allan Poe * There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy - William Shakespeare * No Man chooses evil because it is evil; he only mistakes it for happiness, the good he seeks. - Mary Wollstonecraft * Tell me the news, again, whatever it is... sorrow and I are hardly strangers. I can bear the worst. ― Sophocles

A Few Words On Disciplines; In short

Anti-Fun Methuselah

So, let me just be blunt as heck. Yes they exist. We have disciplines, in fact, we have nigh every discipline available to players. We have slight ... control edits to some (say, removal of WP or Bp expenditure for most Disciplines or introduction of some alternative power), but for the most part the powers you know and love will remain untouched and wholly there for your enjoyment

A few things to keep in mind:
- Yes some powers are tweaked; that doesn't mean they can or should be abused; should I remind you there's a Masquerade out there? So you may create an entire neighborhood of fantastical illusions with Chimestry with minimal expenditure, but that doesn't make it a wise idea, nor consequence-free. Don't make me call a blood hunt on you, I will. <3

- We do have some powerful disciplines on the chart, even re-arranging "Elder" powers to lower tiers to make them available; this is mostly to encourage creativity and open new options, definitely NOT to POWER GAME. In all honesty, if I catch you kids making Tremere characters for the sole purpose of power gaming, I will hunt you down. This is an atmosphere of fun and RP shhtuff. If you need to jerk off on power, then either do it in an engaging RP way (hell, that's not asking too much) or find another board or medium to partake of. VtM, at its base value, isn't a power gamers... well game.

- Have fun. As always, the most important rules are to have fun. I'd like it if you made some friends, or had some memories made in the process... but if you had fun, at least we are doing our job. (not mine of course, since i'm anti-fun)

That's all I got for this general, I'll get to the disciplines in separate posts, with little clumpage. Such as, i'll cover a metric sh*t ton of Thaumaturgy paths in one post, yet spend an entire post on just the finite changes to Auspex.

This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places and events are either the product of imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual people or events is purely coincidental.
