I looked upon the scene before me - upon the mere house, and the simple landscape features of the domain - upon the bleak walls upon the vacant eye-like windows - upon a few rank sedges - and upon a few white trunks of decayed trees - with an utter depression of the soul, which I can compare to no earthly sensation… - Edgar Allan Poe * There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy - William Shakespeare * No Man chooses evil because it is evil; he only mistakes it for happiness, the good he seeks. - Mary Wollstonecraft * Tell me the news, again, whatever it is... sorrow and I are hardly strangers. I can bear the worst. ― Sophocles

Hope it's okay for me to start a topic like this. As an idea blatantly stolen from another PbF I've been involved in, I thought it might be cool to have a thread where we can highlight something cool to our fellow players that another player has done. This could be character-defining moment that they pulled off well, a particularly poetic turn of phrase, or really anything that you feel goes above and beyond the 'call of duty', and makes you go 'wow'. Given how this is subjective, I think we should avoid any posts contesting whether something is awesome or not. If you think it belongs here, throw it up! (So long as the mods are happy with this thread's existence that is.)

While there are a few things I could probably name, I'll just name one to kick us off: Layla's player's collection of photos here and here. It would have been easy to simply vaguely describe the clothes on offer as being in a particular style, maybe google up a few technical terms to add an air of professionalism, but to actually dig up enough photos to give a solid idea of the clothes and jewellery on offer was, I felt, a nice touch. And I was genuinely impressed at how well they managed to find a photo matching what was requested, see here.
This colour means Anita Trucco, a mid-40s severe-looking woman, this colour means Sofia Merlo, her ghoul and company front-woman - late thirties, seems calm and trustworthy, this colour means Nicole LeBlanc, her early 20s beautiful seductress ghoul, this colour means Miguel Garcia, her mid-30s hispanic ghoul doctor, this colour means Andrew Carter, late 20s well-built ex-soldier ghoul, and this is when Sarah is speaking from her own body.

As soon as people see Sarah, regardless of what body she's in, she gives them the impression of being a very cold and cynical business person, the type who'd brag about being a 'shark'. This can be a bit unsettling to more sensitive types.

This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places and events are either the product of imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual people or events is purely coincidental.
