I'm confident said author posted his opinion in a humorous, instigative manner, dripping with pretentiousness, laxing on his grammatical responsibilities for the sake of eliciting a defensive response. Success? Partially.

Try attacking the content as opposed to the grammar and/or the style. Assailing grammar is contemptible and hardly difficult.

If you can't present your argument in a grammatically correct and intelligent style, you aren't worth my time. This comes before all else.

I certainly wouldn't want to author anything that might not be worth your time now.

Declaring an argument fallible on the basis of poor grammatical and structural composition, as opposed to finding faults in the obviously twisted logic presented is hardly admirable, much less credible.

Something along the lines of declaring my tomato and ham omelet to be terrible simply because it looks like shit. My omelet might look like shit, but it tastes fucking awesome.

No time, I'll finish this later/

Agreed. Hence why I attacked your pathetic argument instead of its incredibly poor grammar. I'm still awaiting whatever refutation you may try to drum up.

OK so I don't know anything about the black guy, but just so everyone knows, Hilary Clinton's disapproval rating is about 48%. The average is 8-12%. This means that 48% of people will not vote for her just because they do not like her. Case in point: Hilary Clinton doesn't stand a chance.

It was never my intention to defend this intentionally pretentious bombast in the first place. I'm not quite that self-righteous.

I do, however, dislike women's basketball. Even you have to admit, it's terrible.

The woman.

Eventually, there will be a woman president. And what women is better then Hilary Clinton to be that woman...Honestly.

Thats true, plus she is the wife of the greatest president ever, BILL CLINTON of course. Even though he had past transgressions due to his behavior, he still was an awesome president, if she is anything like he was. I'd rather her, than the other candidates.

I'm not American, so I don't follow American politics that much, but why is the next president going to be black or a woman? Didn't whatishisname for the democrats? JUST lose to Bush? And I heard some drama about Hilary a little while ago.. and, well. THE SOUTH will deal with the black chance pretty well. That's just an outside perspective.

Username, presidents can only be elected for 2 terms of 4 years each in America. Bush's second term ends in 2008, so we will have a new president at that point. The two frontrunners in the Democratic primaries will be a black man and a white woman, and it's presumed that the Democrats will win the election, due to the enormous disapproval rating that Bush (a Republican) has.

Clinton was probably the most truly American president we've ever had. He was an asshole and got head on the side... what separates him from most Americans is that he was incredibly good at what he did.

You guys did see that Hilary's disapproval rating is 48% right? I don't think she has a chance... If her disapproval rating was normal, she would probably win. Looking at it statistically, Ohio and Florida are gona be the deciding states this year. Hilary wins one of them and she will win the election, Black guy wins both and he wins. Yet, considering her disapproval rating.... I'm pretty sure the black guy will come out on top.... besides, all black people vote for black people! Don't yall remember homecoming queen winners? There always black cuz theres only 2 or 3 black girls nominated, so all the black people vote for them. Haha its kinda funny. But that might not have any effect on the elections, I just wanted to include it in my arguement XD

African Americans make up about 12% of the population. They are important for Obama, but won't be convincing by any means, not to mention that yours is a purely racist thought and not really accurate.

What did he do? Boost the economy alittle? There are a ton more presidents who have done alot more for this country.

Quite a bit more than a "little" economy boost. The National Debt was at its lowest in a good time... a decrease which Bush managed to cancel out, double, and more in his time.

Also, his plans for a national missile defense program and environmental friendliness are in my opinion the two most promising leads he took.

Conversely, you have Bush, who destroyed the short trend of America not being completely hated around the world, invaded a country and started a war on a false pretense, and became hated by something like 80% of Americans.

I long for independent politics, but for some demented reason that's currently out of reach for our nation.

Fair enough, but you make it sound as if 12% of the population is a trivial amount. Hardly.

The population of the United States is roughly 300 million yet the average amount of people who are eligible to vote and do so is barely half that number. 12% of 300 million is around 36 million people, and while not all of them can vote, that amount of people uniting to champion on a candidate is a pretty respectable number.

Not to mention that having a black candidate will undoubtedly incite many normally non-voting African Americans to get out their and support a brother running for presidency. And there is only one that has a moderate chance of winning. Also, his voter base is not exclusively African American by any means(I know you're not arguing that).

And not just African Americans, but the Hispanic voter might see the choices this election and decide to run with Obama as well. And the Hispanic vote is a sizeable number.

Obviously I'm dumbing this down a bit, because as you know there are a variety of factors which influence African American voting trends, and making broad generalizations is not my style. However, I think that the African American vote this election will be more important than in past years.

Link me to a credible source that showed Clinton's disapproval rating at 48%.

Why Ohio and Florida? If anything, it'll be California.

These are all the statistics you need to know to see that Clinton will win.

I'd like to believe that African Americans will vote for the person they believe most qualified, rather than simply voting for the man of their shared race. Just as I'd like to hope that all whites will do the same, though, I know that it's not true.

Those are hellishly accurate exit polls, Etra. The most dominant statistics, however, were those on religion, which is really disheartening... Also, 37% want no legal recognition for gay couples? Yeah. And the SEPERATE BUT EQUAL!'s ...That worked great, heard of segregated schools?

I'd like to believe it as well, but it's a sad fact that a large number of voting African Americans aren't educated or well-informed enough to make a decision based on anything other than a darker shade of skin which they share. A large chunk won't look past skin color. I know that sounds incredibly racist but I assure you I would be hard-pressed to go around my city back in the states and find more than a few black people of voting age who would even know who the current presidential hopefuls are as of now.

Again I'm generalizing, but can you honestly tell me otherwise?

No, I agree.

The point I'm making is that the same is true for a large number of whites, who won't vote for Obama simply because he is black.
