Next version can you open up the ends of the cliffs? I personally liked being able to go up there, I don't know what other people prefer. Also, for the stats, just use burrowed units owned by a computer player to check K/D ratio. It's much neater that way anyway. Just a different location for each player and it'll work out fine. |

I use burrowed units for k/d, flags, and bonus. They all have to be different units in order to break the ties. |

Well then you can create units at certain sublocations and then simply give all units at the sublocation "belonging" to a each player at the end of the game before the MVP calculation starts. I don't understand what the hell system you're using, but I'll assume that won't cause any problems. |

That's how I have to do it now anyways, I just give the unit as it is created though. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem to give them at the end. I'll work on it. Working on 1.6 - pretty sure it is finished. I opened up the cliffs so that you can extend out to the ends. The MVP calculator is invisible now until the end. I removed the function of Most kills = first tie breaker because I don't see how more kills is better than less deaths. Now it goes: If Tie for MVP... Then - Flags > Bonus. Also, the tie breaker counts much faster - instead of a 10 second wait it is now a 3 second wait. I will wait to make this the official map until it is tested a few times with the mvp calculator etc. For now, use 1.5. |

one thing i noticed that i didn't really like in it is that in center views your screen when you cliff..this clan be plroblematic when your shifting and also when you exit the cliff, youre screen doesnt ecompass all of your vision and you could get shot almost without even seeing the oppenent :P |

If you use powers of 2 the MVP calculator can go much faster than it seems to. It looks like you're just doing a loop of 1 until it's over. The way I show below will go nearly instantly, and each trigger will execute no more than once. Just order your triggers correctly: If > 64 kills, subtract 64, do MVP calc's. If > 32 kills, subtract 32, do MVP calc's. If > 16 kills, subtract 16, do MVP calc's. . . . . . If > 1 kills, subtract 1, do MVP calc's. Ditto flags and bonuses, except you'll only need to go to 8, 4, 2, 1. If someone gets more than 15 flags/bonuses or more than 127 kills I'm just going to assume that they are MVP. |

Nah, that's not how it works. The MVP calculator is instant since it is just looking for the most men commanded. Tie breaker looks at them individually; this is also instantaneous. But the stats for the SS takes roughly 2 seconds the way it is now, although your method would work I don't really feel like changing it to save 2 seconds. |

I just tested v1.6, it's definitely a major improvement from 1.4 This includes... -Open ended cliffs -Screen does NOT center your unit when you cliff -Tie function is much shorter -Mvp Calculator is improved and removed from ciff, now located on bottom left of map Nice work KLiT. :) |
