I agree with this theory, the name just really irritates the piss out of me. I discovered this four years ago, as did other snipers (WooD and Save namely, maybe many more), except you explain it differently than I did and slapped some pretentious bullshit name on it. |

Isn't this the same kid developing bots, hacks and trojans on the same video game we are talking about? Sniperde or however you say is Shadow[Demon]. This "pulse theory" seems pretty interesting. I have no idea really the fundamentals of how units actions relate to firing, but there's something i've noticed. Probably relates to "pulse theory". When you lure, the fog of war goes away, and returns imediately with 0 latency or off battle net. When you lure on battle net, there's a slight delay or what I used to do is stay a few seconds to get multiple seconds of vision. |

idk if you've made a map to test it yet, but why not have one that spawns ghosts all on the same line across the map with like a .1 second difference and nl a command center directly across from them. if you're right they would end up in a zigzaggy line correct? |

:o This is still going on. I gave up on trying to explain this.
:P While unless you have amazing timing and distance perceptions this isn't going to make you a better sniper, it explains why EVERYTHING works. I see a lot of posts about "why bother" etc. Most of you would have defended angles to your grave a month or two ago, which is basically just a different theory that happened to be wrong. Also, when I was testing this a lot a while ago I think the pulses were once every 120 ms. (One check every 5 frames) |

All maps are hackable, they will always be. So everyone wastes their time creating more. You can't remove drifts, and if you did; There goes the reason for angles and dlocks. If you really want a smooth map, delete anti-mh, delete all the excess triggers, and ask people to record or screen shot. Going to far for a dead game. Try wc3 snipers or a new game. |

Yes you can remove drifts, it just takes time and effort on the part of the mapmaker. Dlock relies on distance, not a drift... "Angles" are bullshit except when you cause the other sniper to drift, which is just lame anyway. Memorizing spots on a map that are fucked up makes you a good sniper? I'll pass. Agreed on the second part, there's no need for a lot of the crap that people are implementing. Fix the pure game, make it as skillful as possible, and play. |
