we are only really free in our heads.. unless we lived like in total isolation, other's peoples decisions will always affect your freedom, whether its government or in the case of total anarchy, someone will prevent u from doing w/e u want to promote either society's interests or their own self interest. like say you want to kill everyone in the world. u are free to try i suppose, but not free to succeed. someone probably will stop you, unless you're hella good.. that can be construed as not being "free" to live like u wanted. and even the free in our heads can be debated about how our society our culture and our religion dictates what we will think. but yea. does anyone understand what im trying to say? freedom is a weird thing

I'd like you to clarify with an example if you can, and also, what do you mean by "you're not free to succed"? I personally think freedom has nothing to do with succes or defeat... But again, maybe I didn't get your point...

"we" as in Americans? I hardly believe so. Freedom is not something that can only occur through peace.

My post wasn't meant to be serious. I know there is more than one way to have "freedom"
