Maybe that's true Faz, but I was going to go look up the journals anyway, not take stuff out of his book. If the journals show support of global warming instead, then oh well. I just need the references first. |

And don't you think that finding out whether global warming is the result of humans, nature, or a mixture of the two would help in guiding the search for methods of combating global warming? Obviously yes, and that is why it is not a useless contention. Saying that the causes of global warming aren't as important as finding a solution is like saying the source of an endemic disease isn't important, and only creating new medication to fight it is. You need to discover the cause in order to formulate a cure, and to prevent the problem from recurring. Edited by Tonic, Sun Jul 12, 2009 8:27 pm.

Either way we need to attempt a solution. If it's a natural phenomenon and we're doomed, wouldn't it be worth it to try and fix the problem? |

First I'd like it to be made known to everybody that I am dying laughing at this guy, demagog. Ridiculously stupid. Michael Crichton, a popular science fiction author, is your main proof that concludes you to believe global warning is not real? Wake up kid, like tonic or whoever said earlier, there is undeniable proof that this is happening. .. |

Okay, I don't wanna really be taking sides here, but shouldn't we just hear DeMaGoG out? Everyone's been jumping on his dick about his "source" but I'm sure he should have a reason for his beliefs here. Lets just see what he has to show before anyone fucks up his day or not. |

LMFAO??? Is this a joke? Scientists all over the world agree that global warming is a serious issue caused by humans and only fixable by humans, this isn't a US made propaganda. If you believe this link here and have glossed over all the other MORE CREDIBLE NEWS SOURCES, you obviously need a CT scan. Edited by UnConquerable, Tue Jul 14, 2009 9:06 am.

The NCPA has been characterized by many as a right wing advocate for many years. It would make sense that they would ignore the possibilities of global warming since they also promote entrepreneuship of the private sector or, as I view it, less restrictions for companies to expand. I cannot verify where it got its sources but I can say that its seriously outdated. A 12 year old article is a pretty bad source to base your claims on especially if those scientists and climatologists mentioned may have changed their mind somewhere in the past decade. |

Lol, Korean. I doubt you've done any of thatyet, so how can you say it's the bestway to die? :P Besides Nost say's the world will end in 3k something. No worries, just live life up to the fullest till then. Know that I'll miss you guys. Global warming will effect our kids (If any of you get to have some) not us. We'll get to live through some of it though, poor kids. But the way things are looking we'll stop it before it get's too far out of hand. |

I didn't feel like reading the 8 pages of this but if the world is going to end on that day, I'd rather die in Iraq and I guess I'll get my chance starting in January. |

Why in the world would you rather die in Iraq, instead of here amongst your friends and family? |
