Hey guys, I wanted to do something that Maverick did a while back and that was commentating a sniper video. In the video, I'll basically talk about my thought process throughout the game, I guess to give you guys an idea of how I play. This was pretty fun to do. Sorry for the watermark in the middle; I had to convert the video from Hypercam to a format that Windows Live Movie Maker would accept. I wanna figure out how Maverick recorded his before I do the next game. Worked on this for a bit and I guess this is how it turned out. Hope you guys enjoy it! Please leave any comments, suggestions, or constructive criticism! Game 1: Game 1 Edited by Drinks, Thu Apr 4, 2013 3:01 pm.

Commentary works a lot better if you have two people, to kind of bounce off of each other and compare points of view. Also, it's more interesting to hear someone comment on either people's games rather than their own. You should pick an interesting replay and you and someone else just kind of talk about sniping throughout and what you're seeing. Come to think of it, is that even possible, or do you need to be in the same room with someone? |

Commentary def make videos more interesting really. I like that you posted a loss because it shows you can identify your mistakes and not just be a cocky ego driven sniper like most of us are ;). Only complaint is the sound was a bIt low. I needed to put my headphones in and raise it all the way up to hear it lol. |

Definitely possible, but a bit harder to coordinate. Mav fortunately had his brother next to him but it's a little bit more complicated for me haha. I'm gonna try to release more of these. And @ SmacK, ya I figured out why my mic volume was so low, fixed it. |

Yes, it just involves the video coming out to a larger size, aka taking longer to upload. |

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out how Mav recorded his. Seems pretty apparent though that he did his like mine, albeit with better quality lol. If I record my voice while gaming, it'll record my keyboard and mouse sounds too :X. I think I would either need to buy a dedicated microphone or just do what I did for my first commentary, just in a better way lol. |
