I stopped working at the College I use to do basic IT work at and went to the extreme polar opposite.

I now am a Battery Repair Specialist/Charger Repairman.

I work on industrial size batteries and repair them while also maintaining the chargers that go along with them. Pretty interesting stuff, learned a shit ton of stuff I didn't know. To give you an idea of the work that goes into these things; your average forklift battery weighs ~2,800 pounds. They come in sizes of 12, 18 and 24 cells. The cool thing about repairing them is I get to drill off the cells (Lead straps) and then I have to wield new ones back in place. And with the chargers its all electrical work, working with circuitry and general electrical wiring ect. So even though its not computers I still get to work alongside technology like I enjoy. Plus, it pays good lol.

I'm a cook at a seafood restaurant. I hope to be made assistant manager when they find out my sick glitching, stancing, and angling abilities.

Winners for best replies so far.

As for me, I'm a Technical Recruiter.

I'm still an assistant brewer but I just got hired as a wildland firefighter with the US Fish & Wildlife Service. That's just seasonal, though. Starting this summer, when the fire season starts.
